  1. With the spaces that he had to fit the offsetts could be anything. Assuming all 4 wheels are 9.5, that's pretty wide for the front and the one to check on a Zed. The offsett though will be on the back of the wheel, as they are clearly off the car he ought to know mate. Smithy
  2. Depends on what discs your going to use as they are slightly different to suit the offsett of varying discs. Danny DTA though now closed down does have a few items of stock lying around, he used to sell the adapters for the GTR33/34 sized disc so strong chance he'll have some. Note though there is a difference in adapters between the 350Z and GTR sized discs despite them being the exact same size disc. Smithy
  3. No deffo makes things better mate, this has been done time and time again and numerous kits sold on ebay similar with various sizes of discs. It's been discussed a 100 times here, do a wee search. If your using brembo calipers then it's N/A for you obviously smithy
  4. By using an adapter bracket mate smithy
  5. TBH mate as i said i can't see the ebay link until am home. But if the tyres have really good wear on them, then sod it soon as they wear down and on Zeds that can be quickly lol change the rears to a 245, job done! As for yours being a UK or Jap, stick a couple of pics up, but if your rear bumper is standard it should have fog lights built into it and your front bumper should have dummy corner lights in it to be a UK model smithy
  6. Mate his hard luck story ain't your concern and of course your assuming he's telling the truth eh? Your 1st course of action is HIM. Even if he pays you out, you've lost your Zed ffs. Keep on at the cops, keep on at him. How much is your car worth to you? A hard lesson learnt by using small back street garages with your prized possession, however sadly your not the 1st Zedder in this situation, doubt you'll be the last! Smithy
  7. Somehow being a couple MPH out until the tyres wear down ready to be changed isn't going to be a biggie when the poor guys getting stressed finding a nice set that he likes and fits IMO Smithy
  8. If he's fitting aftermarket wheels then ideally he should notify the insurance company anyway, so tyre width is irrelevant. I can't look at ebay from work, but even if they are the 18's, with a few hundred Zeds wearing 18's and even bigger, i can't see it being a problem. Smithy
  9. Don't panic mate, little effect tbh so wap em on. Link to where buying or pics? smithy

    Well done fella :balloon::clap::thumbup: smithy
  11. Pretty sure this guy is running a map sensor instead of a MAF fella. Smithy
  12. Having raised 2 kids and now 2 more, yep it all fits. With each targa in it's bag i used to have one outside glass down then the other turned around and outside glass down on top, pram sits on top no probs. I couldn't be arsed getting them to sit ontop of a pram as they would be rattling around all over the gaff, afterall it's only a 10 second job to remove the pram before the targa's! smithy
  13. Bleedin ell mate, that's 300 quid just for the adapters for all 4 wheels, yikes!! As this adds 20mm i've no idea what offsett you'd then be looking at, but certainly if those were Jap wheels, the offsetts would be way out.... Someone else more in the know would be able to answer if you need a lower or higher offsett for the added 20mm. smithy
  14. You don't sell double glazing by chance do yer fella? smithy
  15. Ah like the good ole days, good on yer  still got mine like, but a handy wee thing for the membership packs fellas Smithy
  16. Just run proper air intake ducting to the cone from each side of where the original SMIC's were. Smithy
  17. The Doolz uses tight 180deg bends, they are then cut open and welded in the centre join to even out the airflow. It's design took a great deal of effort to get right and a lot depends on this join being spot on. Your using a 90 deg bend, then flexi hose to bend the rest which i would guess would kink, plus at just 2 ply would suck in and out like a heart beat. Rest assured if it was as easy as doing what you plan, the cost and development that went into the doolz by Ash powers would have been wasted cos 100's of others would have done what your planning. In theory it will work, but i seriously doubt it would do the job right or in fact anywhere close, but good luck. smithy
  18. Ferrodo DS2500 mate :-) Oh and don't forget to order GTR33 ones lol. Smithy
  19. :gun_bandana::gun_bandana: Reading a post and having to move the screen view to one side because of a sig pic being so wide, is soooo annoying! Smithy
  20. Quayey has covered pertty much all of it mate. Have you done an ECU diagnostic check your self? Nearest garage to you (i think) who works on Zeds is still a fair drive and that's member Silverbullet on here, just in case you end up down that route. But more info and check as lsited above first. Smithy

  22. Tamworth/Coeshill area mate, well worth the trip imo Smithy
  23. That's cos the B's were made for the US market mate which were found to be slightly different but advantageous. No suppliers in the UK of these now i know off anyways now that DTA have closed. Smithy
  24. Sure, DBA in Aus http://www.dba.com.au/ Motorworld in UK with prices once you select your part No. (Skyline GTR33/44) http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/frame-manranges.asp?code=35 and the official supplier in the UK who supply the Skyline and Evo forums http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/website/index.asp?refID=1&pageType=C Go for the 4000 series if you can, 6x6 wiperslot.
