  2. Being a turbo'd car yes, can be very noticeable on acceleration mate. smithy
  3. Assuming the lack of dash lights is connected to the non starting issue and no codes are shown on the ECU check, you should be able to forget all the usual suspects like PTU, CAS and Temp sensor and start looking at some of the big relays, think there's one called IGN Control? possibly Blue. Other than getting it to a garage somehow, the relays has gotta be the next thing. Aint snapped the belt have yer? smithy
  4. Geez i hope you don't take early retirement mate, Jamie would never cope on his own with all these Zeds to fix lol Happy birthday mate  Smithy
  5. This company was originally on here and i think their 1st kit ws actually for a zed, many moons ago now though. smithy
  6. If it's yer PTU or owt else this should tell you. http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html smithy
  7. If it's throwing a lot of fuel then chances are it's simply flooded, which ain't hard to do on a Zed if theres corrosion on the temp sensor. Drivers side in the engine bay next to firewall is a small fuse box, pull out he plug for the fuel pump, try starting the car, after about 5 trys it should fire up if flooded. If it seems to be better at trying but not quite making it, whip out the 1st 4 plugs that are easy to get to and dry them out, start car again and should be okay. Failing all the above, do an ECU diagnostic check. smithy
  8. Installing all the pipework for the turbo's and intercoolers in stock location ain't gonna be fun either. smithy
  9. Pretty sure it was PAULC who doen the 350z rears, drop him a line and ask mate. Or you can search his posts to about 18months 2 years ago. smithy
  10. Jeez that's naff. Single person tax code here is £9,300 before any extra allowances for loans or mortgage etc. Then it's a whole 10% we pay tax up to i think 45K earnings then it's 18% smithy
  11. So that's 40 quid a head, about an hours work? so either a bargain or quarter of a job. Seeing as he's a mate, I hope it's not the latter........... smithy
  12. 500 bucks for a pair heads fully done with new parts sounds fair to me tbh. Headgasket from Nissan i think are around 25-30 quid each, so 60 quid max plus vat for the 2. smithy
  13. Here yer go http://www.alunox.co.uk/exhaust.htm smithy
  14. and here it is http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html smithy
  15. In the engine not really and certainly nothing you would notice as a novice. ECU wise again very minor and nothing that would stop it starting and running, so best do a quick diagnostic and see what codes your getting. smithy
  16. Yep years ago when Caz first started in business I supplied her many products and then Danny did thereafter me. She's got a good name for herself on the Aussie forums and if anything on her site is off interest, i'd reccommend purchasing from her. smithy
  17. Have a look in our traders section mate, in the Zedworld section is details about 1 piece props and in MJP's section you can price up replacement parts. hth smithy
  18. The answer is YES mate, must be subscribed in order to sell. smithy
  19. Whaat plugs did you fit in the end and did you fit them yourself? smithy
  20. Hope this helps mate :-) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=78096&referrerid=119 smithy
  21. Try here mate, they break Zeds all day every day, oh and they fix em too lol http://www.zedworld.co.uk/wizzc.html smithy
  22. Pretty much all the candy colours are nice, Lukes is well cool. They nearly all use a silver base though and if you've the money and fancy going 1 step further, use a chrome base, it's ubber sexy and the candy can become a chrome red or black or blue etc. The body shop doing yours won't have used this system as very few have and the paint is imported, plus it means spraying gloss black, then chrome then the top coat which is actually a coloured laquer, but if you fancy something unique, it's the way to go :-) smithy
  23. Be a shame if it's in bits mate as it's a real nice looking Zed, though i don't mind the front bumper and skirts being broken up, lol an you know why :tongue_smilie: I like to be exclusive!! smithy
  24. Seeing as Silverbullet can get yer car mapped with what ever injectors and Jimmer having an adapter kit, you really do have a choice of which ones to go for. Sard are perfectly fine and they make many good products, however being second hand IMO you should have them flow tested etc. But for easiness and a gaurantee if failure, i'd go new ones and probably the cheaper Nismo 740's, if it was me  smithy
  25. Also the Sard's listed by Craig am 99.9% certain will also need fuel rails or adapter kit. You can always check with the seller tho. As said, sometimes just bite the bullet and wap the known branded Nismo's in with no adapater kit needed. smithy
