If you are unsure about putting your foot down in a turbo, which takes time to spool up before it actually does anything, you will be caught out by NOS which will almost be instant power. You dont have to be in a straight line to floor a Turbo either. Dont skimp money on cheap tyres and it will stick really well. Only over confidence will cause you lose the back end of a Turbo Z or if there is something major wrong with handling. Have you also thought about the costs? How much is it to fill the bottle again? And how many goes will the bottle hold? I remember reading on TwinTurbo.net some one who after having NOS installed used a full bottle in a day and it cost him $200 to fill it up again. Each bottle only stored enough Nitrus for 5-6 goes. Stuart

You get Valvoline from Costco. Fully Synth and a good price. Its an American make of oil. If you watch Nascar car or Champcar (formally Indy Car) and you see banner of bill boards with a multi coloured V, thats Valvoline. I have used it and personally I thought it was too thin and I think it's 5-40 not 5-50. Anyways, the engine created 1 or 2 little sounds which didnt sound quite right. I changed the oil to 10-40 and every thing was back to normal :D The Castrol RS is 10-60, works well because I think the 10W is better suited for UK weather and 60 becasuse the engine is damn hot. Rear shocks sound like they are gone. From what I remember, Jap Z ones are cheaper than the UK ones I think. You could have bent the stut slightly when hitting the kirb and broke a seal, or it could just be coinsidence that the shocks went at the same time as your meeting with the Kirb Stuart

YES!!! You can over tighten the belts. Find out how much it is meant to move but the general rule is it should twist 90º but it may be different for a Z Stuart

If they say that, they will say its a faulty product and you will each will blame the other. If you got the turbos from the garage too, it will be down to the garage to sort the problem and then try to charge the turbo makers. Did you pay with a credit card? If so you can claim it back on the insurance. Stuart

Depending on how high the dent is, you sould be able to get at it from inside the wheel arch. Take the wheel off and have a look. If you cant access it there its interior out of the boot job and getting access through a small gap. Stuart
