This reminds me about something between the Russians and Americans in the space race. As we all know there is no gravety in space and all biros ink pens need gravety to work. That is why they dont work when you try to write on a piece of paper on a wall, or try to write on somthing upside-down. So the Americans spent millions of dollars producing a pen which can write in a weight less environment. This is at a time where if you had a million dollars you where one of the richest people in the country. So several million dollars later a pen was produced so that the astronoughts could write notes in space. Guess how the Russans got around the problem? They used pencils instead. LOL Stuart

I know there is something wrong with his car. He says there a boost leak and we are putting the bean can on it next week. The bean can method has progressed to a bean can and a Felix cat food can. ;) Found oon of my boost leaks, as at idle my boost gauge used to read about -19. Now its -21ish. Its come down. Is that because I have fixed a leak? We are also hooking up my spare boost gauge to his car so we can really see what boost he is running at. His Apexi actually says he is running 1.2 bar but I think it gets the pressure from a different place than the gauge does. So if ther is a leak after the APEXi sensor it wont show on the APEX'i controller. We are also doing his brakes. He cant brake for more than a few seconds at a time as they start to fade. Hence braking 1 mile before a roundabout or lights.

Hehehe. Sorry. We hit a stationary bus. ;) The bus actually hit a coach which stopped in the middle lane. We hit that then we got hit. Yeap it was a serious one. I think 5 people died. And as I said, if I didnt actually crawl into the foot space at the rear, I personally think I would be in a wheel chair as the seat where all mangled. Plus they where had lap belts which I hated and never used them.

I didnt even read the message. All was just woke up by the sound of the message and I though FTW! That shouldnt still be one So I turned it off not thinking that some one was there. I was in an accident when some one hit our Escort (A new one at the time) at 70mph in a motor way accident. We where stationary as we hit a bus. I crawled into the foot pace of the rear of the car and it was a good job I did. The car hit us so hard that the rear seats where buckled because the boot had actaully been squashed so much it was pushed through the back seats. If I was sitting in the seat I would have been badly hurt maybe killed. If they hit the car at an extra 10mph the boot would have come even more in, another 20 even 30 and the force would have been enough to push the boot upto behind the front seats where I would have been killed. Isn't the force of a car doubled every 5mph or something? It's something like that. Stuart

Yeah I have seen MAC on here at 4am sometimes. :D One time I just logged off when he sent a message. ;) My computer is in my room and I fell a sleep with the computer on. The sound played when he sent me a message woke me up. I just pressed the off button. I didnt realise what I did untill the next morning that I just logged off without saying anything. Saftey boost doesnt work with a boost controller. It tries to activate but the boost controler over rules it. This is why sometimes boost jets are better, as saftyboost still works and will lower the boost. MAC just admit it. For a car that has driven the quivelant of 2/3 distance to the moon, its still a damn fine motor, dispite all the rust ;) But I say its a weight saving technique The only NA car that was stupid enough to try it on that day was a silver pug with the whole family in it. I mean some people just dont have any brians ;) Stuart

Going down the East Lancs (National Speedlimit dual carrage way for the people who doing know. ;)) I see this red Z with a West Wing kit on and round rear light conversion. I pull up behind him and he boots it and so did I. Revs climbing to 7000rpm and I slam it into 3rd with a little screetch of my tyres which where only 20 miles old and needed scrubbing in. Speed climbing to, errrrrrrr I wont tell you that ;) No matter what he tried the Red Z was not getting away from me. We tried it the other way round, I booted and he followed and again, no-one pulled away. Not much of a kill more of an achivement. He had lightened pullies, Mongoose Exhaust, BlitZ induction, JWT ECU and A'pexi boost controller set at 1.2 bar. I just have my exhaust and Apexi induction. No chipped ECU, no higher boost, no lightened pullie and my engine has done 162,000 miles ;) I would have beat him if we where on a twisty part of the road. As soon as we came to a sign that said roundabout 1 mile he started braking. Guttless he was. ;) No confidence in his Z's brakes. :D He says he has a boost leak. I told him that the very loud hiss from all around the engine bay is normal, ;) and it was his Apexi boost controller causing the boost leak and I offered to take it off his hand for a resonable fee. :D Hehehehe. Only joking ;) But I was happy with the result though. ;) Shows the old girl still has some life left in her. Stuart

No but the family in the Mica which it could have crushed would have been killed though. Any one see that car program when they got a few 4x4 driving down a runway at 50mph and the driver swerved as hard as he could. All but 1 fell over. Thats very true. These 4X4s can go very fast because they have big engines. They are not really desgined to go that fast and they are deffinatly not designed to stop from that speed. Stuart

Wrong!!! National speed limit used to be unlimited. No speed limit, then cars came out which could so 100+bhp, so they changed it to 70mph. A Corsa GSI top speed is 130mph, but you telling me that the car is totally stable at that speed? Is it stable at 100mph?

How can I personal numberplate make a car stand out more? Some one gets knocked over and witnesses say it was a Silver Corsa with a fancy number plate. Do you really think that will stand up in court IF they find the Corsa in the first place, as they have no idea of who owns it or where they live. Some people wont even to tell what make the car is. But if they say small car and give the colour Reg year and the 3 numbers, they have a better chance catching them You goto a Cruise and look at how many Corsas have fancy plates. LOADS! As for the automatic detection on cars. Keep your tax upto date and the car is registered and you have no problems. Its not hard to make sure you have tax. Considering you can actually buy the Tax disc 2 weeks before it runs out. There are no excuses. As for the Scooter with the lose seat. If some one was on the back of it and it stopped really quicky. Thier arse would be in the air because of the force. The rider would be OK because they are holding onto the handle bars but the passenger who is holding on to the strap on the seat would come off the bike becuase the seat is not attached. Stuart

Hold on, the stopped bikes doing over 100mph in a 50 zone! Too right too. They also had illegal number plates. Yeah you all think its only a minor thing. How would you feel if your son or daughter was knocked over by a speeding car with loads of witnesses and not 1 could tell the police the number plate because it was in a fancy font, or italic writing or really small, like the ones on the bikes where. They stopped cars which had no tax and where wanted for other things and they where not only just out of date. They where 4, 5 months out of date. 1 person obviously had been steeling tax discs and had 3 different discs and none where for his car. Only thing I thought was a little dubious was the person going through the orange/red light. But giving the bike the once over was a good idea as it found a part where the front mud flap was rubbing away the brake cable. I didnt see anything wrong with the program Stuart

I emailed Nissan about mine because its an early 1991 car, but I have things on it from the 1990 car, like the 300ZX mats not Z mats. One or 2 other smaller things which looks like it was made in 1990 but some things say 1991. :confused: I Emailed Nissan with my VIN number to ask. They told me I had some old stock parts from the 1990 300ZX but it was a 1991 spec with all the mechanical parts being for the 1991, so I wouldnt get the 1990 problems. Stuart

I cant see it having a fuse for both. The "LIGHTS" warning on the dash lights up if either bulb goes. Does the warning light come on? Stuart

Who said turbos get hot? There is no proof that they do. We all hear about the glowing with the heat. See this Porsche 911 turbo doesn't seem to suffer from turbos glowing with the heat :confused: Stuart :D
