During the massive school holidays? Are you a teacher or a student? What can you do? How good a mechanic are you? There is little you can do to the Z engine if you are not a confident mechanic. You can install boost upgrades, ECU upgrades and such. If you are really good you can install your own turbos but unless you can lift the car 6 foot in the air and get at the turbos from underneath, its an engine out job. Not impossible and if you are confident enough to do this do it. Simple modifications like ECU, induction, exhaust, boost controller will produce about 380-400bhp at the crank depending on the boost. The some new intercooler will allow you to increase the boost a little more and make the car run better. Then its new injectorts and turbos time, which will cost you what ever you are prepaired to pay. By then you should get new hardened pistons installed to make the internals nice and strong if you want to go any more on the power. Maybe even a rebore to 3.1 litre. The possiblities are endless and is only restricted by money. You can make the engine produce over 500bhp with the money no problem. There are also weight saving techniques. You can get carbo fiber bonnets (Even though its made form aluminium and very light) and carbon fiber tail gates which weigh a load. Even things like take out the air conditioning compressor will save a few good lb's. If you are quick there is some one who is selling thier Z for £2500 because it needs a little TLC and i has just had an engine rebuild and has been converted to manual. Automatics can hold the power but when you start to get over 430ish bhp the torque converter will start to stuggle with the power. Stuart

I like his site. He used to have HIS top 10 list and the 300ZX was 7th or 8th I think :D He also used to have the most accessed cars of the week and the 300ZX was always up there. Its hard to say what the 300ZX weighs. In the US the TT are all 2 seaters and then there is manual and automatic transmissions. Stuart

Thanks Gio. I run a virus checker very regularly and its never found it and I am running the latest Norton Anti-Virus with the latest deffinitions. I have sent the file to Norton/Symantic, or what ever it's called now. Stuart

On the East Lancs (Again ;)) Red stock looking one going towards Manchester. It wasnt like my red it was slightly darker. Also a nice black Skyline R33 GTR went past me with some very nice OZ alloy wheels on. Stuart

Right. I think I have found the file which has been causing me so much greef. MSNCONFIG.EXE not msconfig, msnconfig. Does any one else have this file on their computer? I have never seen it before, but it keeps loading up and trying to access the internet, but is blocked by my fire wall. However, if I turn off my firewall, this file loads up within 5 mins and takes up 95% of my CPU and starts to eat my memory up. Also, this is when viruses start getting caught by my virus checker, on files like 2.exe and a.exe trying to save into the system32 directory and the startup directory. Is there anywhere I can send this file to for examination. This file is 100% a virus or a trojan. I have quarantiened the file so I am safe for now. Stuart

Hope you wife feels better. If you are in a rush, you can get a really cheap flight I bet, and have a friend that you trust to drive home. Even if you drive home I cant see every Euro Tunnel train being booked up and every ferry the same. If one is booked get the other. A Ferry only takes an hour. Stuart

I am sure Fred Flintstone had softer compound tyres than the Khumos I had. I had them, they where hard as nails and will last you many many miles, but I though they where dangerous. They kicked out while I was going round a corner at 20mph in the damp. I wasnt going fast as other cars where going past me at the time. Stuart

I spent too much time on this game, that my flat screen keeps getting screen burn of the icons on the screen. Its not so bad for a TFT as they dont burn forever if its only light. Turn the screen off for a day and the burn has gone. I need help to stop playing on it. Any suggestions on what else I can do which is free. Stuart!
