  1. People read my road kill about the Traction Control launch. :D Anyways, the Traction Control rev limiter was set to about 5,500, but when I let the clutch out the revs didnt drop they just stayed there untill I got to the speed when 5,500 is normal and then increased. Is that normal. Is that what was meant to happen? Did I just fry my clutch then too? :D Stuart Begining to save for clutch now :D
  2. Today on the East Lancs. I had been testing my car as when we did a load of work on it, the exhaust wasnt connected very well so we too it off today and put some paste on it to stop it leaking. I took it for a test drive as the heat from the exhuast will set the paste. The car sounded a lot better and acutally drove better too. I was on the Lancs as that is a nice safe legal place to open her up. At some lights and a Scooby pulled along side and I thought, "I bet he tries it on". I press my launch button and got my foot ready on the accelerator. The lights going accross the road went to red so it was only a few seconds before ours went to green and I heard his revs rise. I floored it and the Traction Control rev limiter bounced a few times and the light went green and I let the clutch go. :D Breeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee............ p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-pop, V6 roaring I was away :D ;) To about 20mph he had a chance and kept up with me and by that time my Traction Control had stopped interveening and the all the power was on the floor. End of 1st gear and he was about a cars length behind. 2nd gear and I just pulled away like he was just a Nova boy. :D. 3rd gear and I couldnt make him out from the other cars he was so far away. :D Hehehehe. Who's the Daddy? Stuart

You should really get it chipped first as you will detonate if you turn the boost too high with out it. Stuart
  4. There it is. That is the rear right of the car. Stuart
  5. I have seen a site with a few lucky and clever people who have been caught by GATSOs. One person on a motorbike put his foot over the rear plate as he drove past. Another one, a bird flew right infront of the camera blocking the view only to the number plate of the car. LOL Lucky Stuart
  6. What? How much do you want to know? Stuart

I am actuall sorry to say that the cheapest place I have found an APEX'i boost controller is Scoobynet. :S You can also look into getting your down pipes decatted or buy test pipes. Stuart

There are actually mower races around a grass track but I dont think you need to do pit stops to empty the grass bin. They also do 100 metre races in them. Stuart
  9. K reg I think it was. Black Japanese import with nice black 17 or 18 alloys on. Seen in Orrell in Wigan. Any one here? Probably not. :( Im all alone in this town. Stuart

Speak to about what? There are people on the forum who can help you with a chip. As for the boost controller, http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/japanesecarspares.htm to name just 1 of loads of places which sell them. I am sure someone else will be able to tell you somewhere cheaper. Stuart

Chipped ECU and boost controller. This will frighten you. Stuart
  12. Disconnect the battry for 45 mins. Try leave it for an hour and then connect it up again. Also when you put it back on check the connection to the MAS as what you discribed sounded more like a MAS problem Stuart
  13. Check you balancing on your wheels. Most places its free to check and only charge you if it needs anything doing to it. Its amazing how much a small weight can effect your car. Stuart
  14. Who did you buy the filter from? It should have fitted perfectly as mine did. Did you reset the ECU when you put the filter on? You should have so the ECU can relearn how to work, especially with an increased airflow. Also make sure the wire to the MAS (Mass Airflow Sensor) was correctly plugged in and it wont hurt to clean the contacts while it was unplugged. Stuart
  15. I can see a really big twist showing up in this film like all films now a days which have to have a twist in now. Stuart
  16. Good one :D
  17. A good way to distroy them is to put a old car tyre over it, fill the tyre with petrol and then light it. :D Melts the whole box. Stuart
  18. Congratulations. ;) That means though half your car is legally hers now ;) She can pay for half the mods then ;) Stuart
  19. I agree. You dont complain about the Blitz logos, or APEXi or other in your car. Look at a product like the X-Box. The Xbox logo and Microsoft logo is found on the console, control pads, game boxes, the discs even on some of the wires, and I bet if you open it up it will have it on the chips too. To me the logo is not intrusive, it doesnt deminish the look of the dials and it doesnt make it harder to read the dial. And all in all its not a bad looking logo. How would you feel if you made a product which you worked hard to do and when you came to sell it people said "Yeah we will have them but we dont want people to know who made it."? Stuart
  20. Stuart Evans He was a St. Helens Rugby League player about 15 years ago. Pissed me off as I support Wigan and people kept saying "Bet you support St. Helens with a name like that. Hehehehe. NO! There is a Stuart Evans who plays/played football for Swansea or something. Sort of on this theme. On the film Aliens, there is a part where Ripley looks at a report about the first encounter. Its dated 6th December 1979. Which was when I was born :D Stuart
  21. I thought that electricity flowed from negative (Earth) to positive (Live). So if you increase the earth wire the increased electricity will go through it no problem. The current going down the live will be small because the bulb would use most of it up. Isnt that how it will work? The same current cant go down both wires after going through a bulb. Stuart

its harder with an optical mouse, as if you move it really fast it works backwards. I have got over 900mph I cant remember my exact speed. :D Turn up the mouse sensitivity in your options to make it faster ;) Stuart
  23. To remove the headlights is it a bumper off job? Stuart
  24. I am putting in higher watt bulbs in my head lights. Yeah I know its illegal but it makes them average. ;) Last time I did it, they blow after while driving home from de-wales. The constent changing between highbeam and dips blow them I know it's becuase of the heat but some one mentioned making a better earth as that may help. So what do I earth? And will it be easy? Stuart
