The pads should be touching the disk. Pads take a while to wear in. Give it longer

My car has got 170,000 miles and the engine is in bits at the moment fixing a smoking problem, but to be honest the smoking problem was propably the PCVs as they where completely blocked and split. The PCV blocking is a very common cause for a smoking engine and is quite simple and cheap to repair. I just went OTT and modified the engine while I was at it.

But this is not a bike. The parts are chromed on a bike because they are on show and because they are made of metal. The cam belt covers are not metal and can not be polished to be nice and shiny same with the fan shroud. The cam covers which you can not see very well, only in some parts is painted black. Personally I dont want the engine bay to look like a huge mirror.

What about civilians in Iraq who where ambushed, shot and hand their bodies hung, set of fire and finally dragged through the streets. Now imagine that was you brother/dad/son and you are seeing it all over the papers and TV. Are we not allowed to be upset by anything, because there is always something worse happening somewhere?

Trust me. I got Grisoft when I was convinced my copy of Norton was not finding a virus. It was up todate with the latest virus defnitions and I even went out and bought the very latest one and that didnt find anything. On a reccomendation of some one from here I got Grisoft on a free trial and it found 6 viruses which norton did not. Norton lost a lot or respect from me after that. Stuart

Most of them contain a I-Worm.NetSky.q virus. That is what my computer says most of them are infected with.

I am spraying some of the engine covers before they go back on. What colour should I go for? The car will be a dark purple. I was thinking red but Im not sure it will go well with purple. I was going to use a colour I was going to use for the car. Its a dark blue pearl but its dark and there wont be much light in the engine bay to show the colour. What any suggestions on colours?

I had a bad rust spot there because the clip was missing causing water to get through. So people make sure that the clip is there and is holding the arch cover tight
