FAO Vijay I think?!?
Its very easy to use. Take off the air filter, place the errrrr "thing" into place and pump air in and listen for leaks. :D Well worth the cost as it found 2 air leaks on my car. Stuart.

not enough respect for a supercar!!!
But there are 2 versions of the Supra (3 of you count the Celice Supra I think it was), and 2 versions of the RX-7 (3 if you class the RX-7 Turbo II as another one). There are 8 versions of the Mitsubishi Evo and millions of versions of the Subaru. 3 versons of the Celica GT-Four, 3 versions of the MR2. 3 versions of the modern Skyline GT-R not to mention various NA and Turboed non-GT-R versions. So I dont think we can say it was due to the Z31. The Z31 was a good car when it was out.

One law for us and one for them
I am sure they are not allowed to park on double yellow lines. A few months ago there was a photo in the paper of a police car which had been clampped. The police ordered the counsil to take it off and they refuesed unless they paid the fine. Again in the paper a photo of a police van parked on the path because the road has double yellow lines, and you can still get done for parking on double yellow lines even if you are on the path, of a police van with speed cameras. Every single ticket which was issued from that location was quashed, as it could be classed as entrapment. The police are not allowed to brake any law to catch you braking the law. Stuart

One law for us and one for them
If people get a picture of the car there, any ticket that is given can be quashed on the basis that the van was parked illegally and dangerously.

leak-is it bad?
The radiator cap is like a valve. If the pressure gets too much it releases it through the cap spilling water, its better than blowing a hose or gasket. It could be as simple as the rad cap is old, not working as it should and releasing the pressure too soon. Simpelist things first ;) Stuart

I thought there was a filter on the forum which stopped all caps.

Have you actually changed them yourself? Are they expensive?

Viruses!!
No no no no no. You are not sending out emails with viruses on. The returned mail message which have viruses are infact emails been sent to you. I can send you an email which says Email Failure Notification in the title, it doesnt mean its a returned email. The email is a virus sent to you from a computer which is infected. I suggest Grisoft virus checker. I have tried Norton, F-Prot, McAfee and Grisoft and Grisoft is the best. Stuart

round peg square hole?
I seen very long peices of wood sticking out the passenger window. It was really dangerous as if anyone was walking on the path they would have been hit. No road Safety Camera would have caught that.

It's official:(
My 2 grandads died of lung cancer and my granma died of a heart attack most probably due to her 40 a day habbit. My dad gave up for 2 years but started again after his death of his dad over 20 years ago. Its not easy mate, and the felling that you want a cig will never go away. This may sound soppy but you are not doing it for yourself, you are doing it so you can see your kids for a few more years.

not enough respect for a supercar!!!
I like the fact there are not many 300ZXs on the road. Yes you get times when you see loads in a day, but you can go months without seeing another one. I am also glad that it doesnt get too much attention in the magasines as then you will get 17 year spotted idiots trying to buy one and then doing awful things to it, driving it like what you a 17 year old will in a powerful car. That then wil bring the whole image of the 300ZX down. You cant look at a young male driver in a Corsa, Nova or Saxo with out thinking he is a boyracer/idiot, when infact they just use their car to get from A to B in a normal fasion. The fact there are no Zs in the 10 of the best, is mostly due to cost. If you are serious about modding a car just for high BHP numbers and events like that you get a Skyline or Supra because they are cheaper to modify. Many of the large powered Supras and Skylines ditch the twinturbo setup for a single large turbo set up, which drastically reduces cost. Our 300ZXs, its engine out to change the turbos, and you are restricted for turbo size by the room at the sideo of the engine. That makes it more expensive to modify to huge power. So if you are intending to make a big powered car you get those ones as they are easier to work on. That is why they are not in the magasines as much and that is why they are not as well known. I love the "what is it?" attitude you get with the car. People ask me about it and are interested about it, I will talk to them and tell them about it, which I have done a few times. Most rememberable was a man maybe in his 40s was talking to me while I was parked up while my girlfriend was getting money from a cash machine and his wife was. He came over and started looking and asking, before his wife shouted "I told you, you're not getting one", an other time I was at a petrol station in Dunoon, Scotland when a lad behind the counter came out, I thought there was a problem and he started looking round and asking questions. People know nothing about the car and dismiss it as a cráp car or slow, are we really bothered about them? Im not.

The pistons are in. Yay
yeah the gif at the top of the screen is my block with the pistons in. How much where the NA squirters? What would the problem be with TT squirters?
-
The pistons are in. Yay
Z1 said nothing like that to me. I can see where you are coming from. The old pistons have oil holes where the squirters are aimed at. Oil can ride around the inside of the piston before falling out the opposite hole or out the same. When did you get your pistons Steve?

0-240mph in how long?
I really doubt there is much difference from engine power to wheel power on a chain driven motor bike. It wont be 30% like I have seen or even 12% for some manuals, it will be very low, probably less than 5%

Normal why?

Help with centre bearing
You should never really buy a 2nd hand bearings unless you are really strapped for cash.
