  1. I think that is the flash. I did one with out the flash and it shows no variation of shade
  2. I think they do. They are on the block just under where the block opens out for the crank. If they squirt hard enough they probably do hit the under of the pistons
  3. Starting to put the engine back together now as all the parts have arrived :D The crank is back in and it spins really smooth and easily. Its amazing how perfect it fits. If you dont have it perfectly level when you are putting it in, it doesnt go in. Have to make sure you tighten the bolts up in the correct order and dont put it at the full torque straight away. We did it in 4 stages. Also put the pistons on the conrods. The rings will go on tonight probably. The hardest part was getting the little retainer pins out and back in. Most of the gudgion (spelling) pins went in very easliy. 1 or 2 where a little harder and needed to be pushed more. If people do this, you must make sure the pistons go on the right way round to the conrod. I got my turbos back. Yay! at last. These will spool up quicker and boost higher safer 17/18psi safely. The wheels have been replaced as well as 360º bearing installed. The layout of the wheel blades seem slightly different too. Maybe they improved them? :D Also cleaned the heads up to get a good seal when they go back on. The used to look like this and has been cleaned to this Used a lot of parafin and cloth, and a little but of wire wool in the thick gluey parts, making sure I didnt scratch the head. Needs some more cleaning and the valves need reseating later too. Just keeping you updated :D Stuart
  4. Yeah but I bet he had a really manly deep laugh though
  5. The wheels and back of the car scream Lambo, but the front looks like a F50
  6. I posted a pic off all my new parts which arrived about a week ago? Did you not see it? The loom was there. I also found that the loom wireing was also better quality as some wires where thicker and alot of the plug clips where the wire goes into the plug, had tape on them too for extra protection.
  7. You have to cut away some of the slam bar which protects the chassis to install it. Also larger intercoolers actually make performance worse because of the extra lag and pressure drop from the turbos to the engine. Its only when you are pushing serious power with large turbos at high PSI is it worth having a large FMIC, IMHO.
  8. I got one from the states at a very good price. I think that the people in the States buy Japanese ones and put make do. And also according to my book, the US ECU is under the passenger feet like ours, but obviously the passenger is on the other side, but the loom goes along the inside of the car and then out the same hole we use for our loom. I think the only problem we will have, if the loom from the US is a US spec, there may be too much wire on the part inside the car. But looking at it I cant see any problems. I asked whether it will be hard to put in when I ordered it from the US. I was told they sent a few to the UK and not had any one reply back with problems. Stuart
  9. Nothing wrong with a little toon porn ;)
  10. I have heard more manly laughs by female characters in Manga films.
  11. When you get down to the block, there are little oil feeders which squirt oil up underneath the cylinder onto the block. I have a service manual but its for the US ZX and thre is no mention of them in the book. Are these UK specific or have they just for got to mention them in the book?
  12. No no no. Its like that but nothing like that if you get what I mean. That basic shape but not foul like that.
  13. yes it is. ;)
  14. HOw about a 99 spec spoiler?
  15. Or make them smaller
  16. You dont have to do that. Its easier to pass all the other connections through the other way ;)
  17. I just wished I had that amount of cash handy mate ;)
  18. I think the MPH sticker on his dial is telling fibs!
  19. I laughed at his giggle at the end. Do you know if that was a NA GTO? Who edited the vids? On the other ones, I get 20 secs of the cars standing still and then 15 secs of driving off. I thought my picture froze ;) Nice one though. Its good to see some footage of the Zs, its great to hear the V6 from out side the car too, they sound beautiful. God I'm missing my Z :( Stuart
  20. I think that is the purple I have for my Z
