  1. When I picked up the block I was told to change the oil every 500 miles for 2000 miles and then it should be run in, but dont red line it untill 3000 miles. What oil are you using Mark? You should use mineral oil when running in, because synthetic is "too good". Stuart
  2. I think act of God is classes as Floods, lightning, hurcanes and I think war is too  Also in theory if put it on your house insurance, if your get gets stolen out of the garage, it could be covered by the house insurance. My dads motorbke was stolen out of our garage and he claimed off the house.

The cams are hit and miss. I thought they would give you more high to mid range increase, but cams, depending on the profile of them, will really mess up your idle, so I cant see how it helps low end power. Better intercoolers will increase the performance without pushing the turbos. The air will be colder and more dense and thus have more oxygen. I also thought NOS was really for higher revs, as I have read articles about when to use it as you are only meant to use it at certain rev ranges. If you are only running 1bar is there a real need to run GTR34 turbos? I thought they where larger and thus more lag. The 300ZX turbos are quite small and have a good spool up.
  4. It depends on how the paint was set. If not done correctly it can take a few weeks before the paint is fully set, unless they used inferred heat lamps on it or put the panels in the oven.
  5. I suggest engine out. You may find something else wrong. I found the manifold a pain even with the engine out.

Like the LOtus GT3 had Nova control sticks :(
  7. My car was bought from a person who actually came on here once or twice. I learned more from a conversatin from Craig (God) than I did from him. Stuart

Less than 80bhp per litre, that is terrible for a NA Super car. Ferraris make more than that and are missing more than 2 litres.
  9. I was at work

Bruce in the film Bruce Almighty gets one. I think they look the part but with poor performing US engines it will never be as good as it should be.
  11. Look on you log book and get the name of the previous owner. Then just ask us, "Do you know ***** person?" and we will tell you
  12. The Euro spec fan is larger than the US fan and so will the fan shorud be. I am not sure about the Japanese spec fan, but I think its the same size.
  13. http://www.Zcentre.co.uk They sell the kit needed to convert the speedo to MPH
  14. "Hey Kenickie, what you got in the bag? I'll trade you for half a sardeen" My first line ;)
  15. You should have tried to read the "We go together" song. Full of "Doo-whop-dee-doo-be-doo- yippiety-boom-de-boom." and such
  16. Fas, what year of Uni is this? It doesnt sound that hard. I could make that in Java or VB.
  17. "Go Grease Lightning!"
  18. Thought you didnt like purple MAC. Are you leading a double life? Curising in you Supra in you leopard skin combo like the pimp that you are! ;)
  19. I remember them. They where are spearmint flavour?
  20. yeah a few people have had them and after their engine blew up they went for another make. Superchips are OK for little cars where they just increase the fuel map through out the range, but it doesnt work for cars like ours. I am sure an SE one doesnt cost that much.
  21. Little fun, Have you ever been bored and them some one or something which used to be famous pops into your mind and you think "What happened to them". Today for no reason I thought what happened to "Kris Kross" Do people remember "Jump Jump" Can any one else thing of someone/something where you think, "What happened to them?" Stuart
  22. Didnt for me
  23. My God. I think they are the most boring pictures ever!
  24. But its a map every year. And a different one for each country if you go on holiday, oh and the, you need a street map as road atlases dont go to that much detail. So you need to buy a street map of the area you intend to go. If I didnt have that I would need a street finder of the Leeds, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Wigan area, most of which I would never need again, and the next time I did goto that area, I would probably need a new one because the roads change so much now a days. Maps are fine, I have used maps many times and find my way there, but it either meant pulling over a lot to see where I was, wrong turns, and the looking through street maps when the atlas doesnt go into enough detail. Or have a passenger who is good at directions. Also most street maps or atlas's wont tell you where the nearest cash machine is, pub, sports venue, parking space, attraction, petrol station, tyre shop, police station, hospital etc etc is.
  25. I have some pictures I have taken, landscapes, test photos etc, with my dads camera which have a res of 3000x2000 or so. We have printed some landscape pics on A3 paper with them some, with a good colour range, sunsets, autumn leaves. I could send them and see if you would like any. Stuart
