  1. Who was it who said Durite did those connectors. Any one got pic of their stuff?
  2. Does any one remember that police chase on TV when some one stole a Porsche 911 Turbo down the motorway and the chase helicopter lost him cos it was going too fast?
  3. I saw a program when he raced in a Lotus Exige class race. Never raced in the championship before and it was a one off at Brandshatch. Qualified 8th, came 3rd in the first race and 2nd in the next. Of course a car beat a helicopter. A car uses rubber on tarmac for traction to change direction. A helicopter has air.!
  4. The engine heat should not ruin the paint. The paint would have been baked on.
  5. Phone them up. My dad bought stuff from America and it was stuck in Customs for over a week. They only delivered it when he phoned and complaned.
  6. Dont forget to quote your Twinturbo.net number to get a discount.
  7. Its classed as an Import, but if it goes from the UK to Eire, it must be an import. The front lights suggest UK as does the number plate No reflectors on the side of the back bumper suggested UK/Euro Z badge suggests Japanese Import, but late in 1994 it could have changed to the Z. I cant see the interior very well but it doesnt look like the seatbelt is on the door suggesting UK/Euro.
  8. I may be mistaken about the spoiler age. I am sure the spoiler changed in 94 in the US but I have never seen any Japanese Zs with it. Besides the wheels on wrong, the front lights look like a UK spec. The indicator is in the middle and not on the edge of the bumper and there is no reflector on the back of the car.. You say Import? Could it have been imported from the UK? One of the best ways to find out, is look under the bonnet and see if the HICAS stuff is on the left hand side. In the 1994 spec it changed to Electronic HICAS. Some 94 spec may still have the hydrulic ones but by 1995 it surely have the electronic installed. I have noticed on Autotrader, people put a description of 1996 300ZX, when it was imported in 1996 and not a 1996 spec. Stuart
  9. Andy I think that spoiler was used on the US 94 version till 96 when it was stopped in the US. Nigel, its is a very nice spoiler and I wanted one for myself, but it will cost about £500 from the US and then there are costs of shipping and tax before you pay for fitting :(
  10. They are expensive. Last time I saw they whre $900 from the US.
  11. Happy B'day :D Have a piston ;)
  12. Why you selling for £100 when I was offered £125  ;)

Those letters are not legal at all ;)
  14. HICAS light on usually means it needs steering fluid.
  15. Reading people's posts on TT.net and it seems it is the flywheel which acts as the balancer and not the pulley.

But you intentionally broke the law. You can accidently go over the speed limit and then just as quick correct it. You cant accidently order a numberplate with extra text and illegal graphic on. To supply such a plate knowing its going on a car is also illegal.

No Vinz commented about the punctuation. I hilighted places where he did use them. The only error I can see is I used "that" instead of "have". Mot paying too much attention as I am working too. ;)
  19. No mod can say it will give you xxx more bhp because it also depends on the modifications it already has on. Its best to say a %age. By what I have read it will give about another 6-8% increase. Its not so much an increase more of the power saved.
  20. I like the fact that excessive speeds doesnt mean going over the limit. If you bump some one on a icy or snowy road, that will be down to excessive speed even though you could have been doing 15mph at the time. However the government will not act upon this because Blair is never wrong and it must be the official finding which are wrong, because he knows better.
  21. A boost controller should give you a better curve. Boost jets always cause them to over boost for a sort time and them come down. Fit a lightened pulley and do another run. Be interesting what power it actually give.
  22. http://www.pointystick.com/funnyfiles.php?page=1&limit=20 2nd from bottom
  23. Ahhh, maybe. I demend the government run tests on the amount of force needed to decapitate a cat.
  24. I dont think that sun roof will pass EC safety regulations as electric windows now wont keep closing if it gets jammed. I am sure it is the same for a car sun roof. That car is illegal and should not be on the roads. Its pushing up our insurance, causing petrol to go up and a major contribution to our asylim problems, which we dont have ;)
