  3. A week tomorrow:rockon:
  4. Actually my zed does this occasionally, and when you are stationary it goes cold sometimes, then hot again when moving, so maybe not an uncommon problem among other car makes. I really need to flush the rad and engine as the water is a dirty brown, so that probably doesnt help the heat flow lol
  5. :happybday: Barry, i hope you have a good one :duffer::duffer::wheelchair: Cheers Graham
  6. Theres a Fuse box in the drivers footwell, but i very much doubt its a fuse, however there are relays behind the fuse board itself, you will need to remove the kickpanel to access it
  7. That is rare.................... Rare to see the starting price higher than the price it would end up at:biggrin: Good luck to him tho, looks like a nice example
  8. found this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_169193_langId_-1_categoryId_165732
  9. Not sure mate, ive still got an auto, but will be looking for one myself when i get it converted. Probably best to google it or ebay Cheers Graham
  10. There is usually a leather tie ( like a shoelace) or some come with a metal locking collar, but not the ones off ebay, you just get the gaitor. You could try velcro, stick a piece to the shifter, just under the knob and some on the inside of the gaitor and press together, that might work. Or someone will be along with a better idea lol
  11. mine went flat after 3 days of sitting in the cold, battery is not that old, but it does say on the side, first charge required jan 09, so i guess its not as new as i thought lol
  12. Welcome seb, theres lots of info on the site, have a search round until you get the answers you want. Graham
  13. The law is an ass  as they say, the cps are a joke, they will not prosecute or take further action unless they feel they can get at least an 90% chance of conviction. Not in this case unfortunately but generally. Myself and several others got ripped off by a conman, who then did a runner. We managed to trace him to an area of the country and let the police do the rest. They brought him in for questioning and even though the police knew he was guilty as sin, cps wouldnt take it further, through lack of evidence proving he wasnt going to pay the money back. He is still doing the same thing in other areas and still the police cant touch him, so as long as there isnt much proof or you dont do anything silly, like leave behind DNA, you can get away with murder( hypothetically speaking):shuriken::wink:
  14. I have had the same thing for the past 2 days, flat battery. I have mine on charge at the minute, but when i turned the key, i got a click and a beep beep from my alarm
  15. What about insurance? my policy clearly states that im not covered for track and it names the Nurburg ring in particular
  16. Hi Bud and welcome back, ive had to edit for the reasons given above and moved to the correct section. If you want to subscribe, you will be able to offer for sale etc Cheers Graham
  17. I believe the cable goes from the selector to the auto ecu in the footwell, then the harness attaches into the right hand(drivers) side of the gearbox, near the top
  18. Ok sorry lol. The steering boss is the black circular part that turns with the wheel, that the wheel attaches too. If you undo the 6 allen srews that hold the wheel on, you will then see the top of the boss. Undo the centre bolt 19mm iirc then lift off the boss. At the bottom of the boss there should be a plug with 3-4 wires attached, the horn wire is in the plug. the horn button itself will have an earth and if its not toughing the inside of the boss it will not work, so before you go taking the wheel and boss off, try the earth on the button. HTH
  19. There is a plug, that connects to the boss for the TT, did the boss have a plate or a plug on the bottom?
  20. What steering wheel do you have that has no horn button? The feed is already there
  21. Will do nothing at all and will not affect anything, its no longer needed HTH Graham
  22. Thats good going there Kim, i think most of us could do with losing a bit of weight and getting healthier, but most dont bother till a doctor tells you its imperative. Keep it up mate Graham
  23. The dials and pods will arrive Wednesday:D
  24. I love reading those, are there people out there, stupid enough to entertain this sort of thing. Let me know how you get on Kim:rofl:
