Typical Nissan dealers, they have no idea, just give them the part number, they dont need to know anything else, they are flipping useless

Brakes dont work
You will get the click everytime, you put your foot on the brake as it makes contact with the release switch, however if its louder than normal and you havent heard it before then you might have a faulty relay or solenoid, i personally havent had this problem before and i am surprised it has happened just by changing the discs and pads, the only other thing i can think of is a seized piston in your calipers. Unlikely i know especially as you would have to release the line pressure to get the new brake pads in, but you could have had some grit thats worked its way in somehow. A pain in the ass, but i would suggest taking the caliper off again and checking that the pistons are moving ok, it must have been something that has happened somewhere in the process of changing all the bits. Sorry i cant be more specific, but its one of those process of elimination situations

finally got my conversion kit :)
Not a bad price for a package, i have these axle stands, really solid and safe http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_253949_langId_-1_categoryId_165727#dtab

finally got my conversion kit :)
Not if you put them on blocks first, however, you will need to jack up and raise a bit at a time and to gain extra height, for the jack use a piece of 4x2 once you are up high enough to warrant it. Will take a bit of time but at least you will get the clearance you need to get the box under

finally got my conversion kit :)
It will be more accessible with the box off, depends which pipe. Halfords not a bad price for axle stands and trolley jack Have you read the threads for the conversion? Will help a great deal with whats involved etc? Good luck Graham

If you put the clutch pedal and bits in that are awkward, then if you took it to a garage, they would just charge for the gearbox change maybe. Failing that option get the car onto 4 axle stands, raising with a jack bit by bit to get the clearance, that way you can get to the rear axle to remove the prop and everything else from under the car without messing with ramps. You can make some wooden ramps to get a bit of height but i think axle stands is the way to go if doing it yourself HTH

New nissan 300zx questions
Totally irrelevant anyway, most imports wont have an accurate mileage reading, unless it comes with any history to back it up. I would get the cambelt done as its due at 60k

Steamy Windows!!
Usually indicative of damp or water leak in the car, it shouldnt happen whilst driving as air will pass through the vents naturally, but at stand still, certain factors come into play. Youre body heat temp outside etc, Mine does it occasionally on a wet day

Fitting Indiglo Dials
As you look at the 2 screws on the bottom of the dash, the left is the live, right is the ground. You cant take the old faces off anyway and replace with the indiglow, there would be a gap where the needle centre sits and the rest post for the speedo needle would be gone, the only 2 faces that can come off easily are the boost and oil press faces, remove 2 mini screws and they slide off. Very easy job to do, enjoy Cheers Graham

multi room
You are better off buying a tv sender unit from maplins, less than £20 You would need to run one aerial cable to the tv upstairs from the back of the sky unit. You can watch what you want in the bedroom and change channels and you will save£££s over the year for multiroom. Multiroom is handy if you both want to watch something different at the same time, but with a HD box you could record a program and watch it later
