Christmas meet locations?
22nd is good for me

can you hear the click?
temp dependent, if you out it on auto for eg: the compressor clicks in, if you press the econ button it clicks off, although you are not using air conditioning, it still utilizes the compressor, someone else might be able to explain a little better. I will try and dig out some info

Gearbox judder
could be both, if you can afford too, i would replace both. Replacing the centre bearing without doing the mount may produce the same symptoms as before, but at least a visual check of the gearbox mount should give you an idea. In one of jefftt's posts there is a pic of a new and knackered gearbox mount to compare. HTH Graham

can you hear the click?
The click comes from the clutch engaging on the ac compressor

Gearbox judder
Prop bearing or gearbox mount, though usually the prop bearing causes the vibration

Pod Dead
No probs mate, will text you so you got it. No temp reading- no power to the ecu or ecu dead, latter unlikely, so will be a fuse or TCU, there are also relays behind the fuse board, you may have a short, check behind the kick panel/ fuse board for corrosion, everything pretty much travels through there. Cheers Graham

Pod Dead
Hi Maz resetting the ecu wont make them work again, def sounds like a fuse or two. Do you have the climate control numbers showing? Footwell fuses are most likely, take them out to check, rather than looking at them in situe. The mirror switch is a seperate fuse to the wipers etc, Failing that there are relays behind the fuse board in the kick panel as well as the time control unit which controls wiper speed, light circuit, etc. Look at brians post, it shows exactly what fuses are under the bonnet, the ac is in the main fuse box Hope you manage to sort it Graham

HID's - how can you tell?
No But, but if you go higher, the light tends to look bluey, 6K is usually recommended as the best to get

HID's - how can you tell?
An easy mod, not necessarily cheap, but well worth the difference in visibility at night.

NEW series of wheeler dealers.
I dont think they can make a profit on any car they do. They dont tell you if they have included labour etc and after the work they put into the ferrari £300 profit wasnt really worth it lol

Yay! Finally got me a Z :)
Looks like a really nice example, welcome to the club

changing to uk clocks
Mine still seems to read in kph for some reason, it certainly clocks quicker than miles would, so no cant be 100% in all cases, just what ive found on mine.

Size of rear wiper blade
I fitted a 20" with no probs, its not just the length of the sweep thats important, its the extra drag on the motor, any longer and it tends to slow abit on the sweep back.

changing to uk clocks
You could get a UK cruise ecu from JeffTT, that would lift the max speed limit it will set at. Fitting uk clocks will read in mph, the oddometer still reads in kph, wont affect your hicas/power steering, but also worth at some point having a chipped ecu fitted to tie everything together nicely

FAO jonce
The only purple lights i could get are neon cathode tubes, 2x 10" long with invertor, really cheap, hopefully be here mon or tues, will let you know the cost of the extra bits in a pm later, but not alot so dont worry too much lol Cheers Graham

Yes it will work off a car battery, just assumed it was off the car. 9v pp3 little squarish one Do you want me to put some 501 bulb caps on the ends of the wires to plug into your existing loom to try? Bear in mind the indicator wont flash at the correct speed with out putting the 12v resistor in across the live and ground, but you will get the idea. I have the resistors, i was going to mount them on the rear of the board to make wiring easier for you

Rob G AKA TweenieRob died today
RIP sad news

I dont think you need to make it any bigger, less is more, stick a 9v battery on the leds when you get them and hold it behind the cover to get the idea, they will be much brighter than you think. I assume your are talking about the bumper in your sig, or have you changed it Cheers Graham

you will need to take the rev and speedo out, hot glue the strip in and wire to the 2 screws at the bottom of the dash to light. I use 2 strips so i can get the circular angle in the right place. I dont mind doing them, but if you want to give it a go yourself, i can do some instructions for you to follow. Cheers Graham

FAO jonce
Hi Vig Yes of course i can, unfortunately hadnt discovered the idea of the strip and reflection when i did yours, let me know when you want to send it Cheers Graham

FAO Car.Mad
The opening aperture is the important measurement, that the light will shine through, pm your address and i will send this one for you to try for size behind the glass/perspex. I take it the 165mm aperture is what the board will sit on? You will be able to see the depth also

FAO Car.Mad
Thats why i didnt fill the whole board with leds, so it can be trimmed to suit, it can be changed to anything you want, i was just giving you an idea of what it will look like
