  3. Isle fo wight now totally covered and suffering, we are not used to having snow down here, not that settles anyway. Took me two and half hours to do 9 miles. Its not so much the snow thats a problem here its the idiot drivers who are not used to driving in snow. foot down, trying to get up a hill, idiots:thumbdown:
  4. As said above, the O2 sensors are in the top of the manifold and the cat temp sensors can be done away with. FYI with O2 sensors disconnected, the ECU will revert to a means setting,
  5. There is a light control box, drivers side rear behind the light panel the connector my be out slightly or knackered box. JeffTT will have a spare
  6. 501 5way leds are the best for the dash, they offer better light dispersion, best to do a search on ebay, loads come up, most from Hong Kong, but you get more for your money and usually 5-7 day delivery. Number plate bulb 501
  7. Me too, i think mines on its way out
  8. I think thats what you meant to say lol

Irony Joel, i dont think so lol. Its worth gauging interest to make it viable again, which is why it was dropped, very few bothered
  11. Can you not see the poll craig?
  12. groover replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - 300ZX Related
I have placed up a poll for COTM, please vote and see if we can make it viable to work this time
  13. A poll to see how many would like the Car of the Month competition revived. Please take into consideration, that there is a fair bit of effort and time required to make the competition run smoothly, organise the trophies etc. Isaac ran the last few and it a decision was made to knock the COTM on the head, due to lack of nominations, votes and general interest. We have had a fair few new members since and some renewed interest. So get voting, its down to you the members to make the competition work. Cheers Graham

It has been tried and revived many times, but due to lack of interest, it was shelved. Maybe we could do a poll to see if there is any renewed interest, however there is a lot of effort involved, but im sure if there is enough interest then Isaac will be able to give it another go.
  15. Fairly straight forward, like changing an alternator, but a bit more messy lol. This link may help http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=51418&highlight=power+steering+pump
  16. That will be the power steering pump, may be on its way out, ive got a similar problem
  17. On the other side of what, the TCU or ECU?
  18. No Paul its plastic:biggrin: off white in colour, to get to it, you need to take the drivers footwell kickpanel off, by removing 3-4 screws, its situated at the bottom of the inner panel with the loom connector entering at the bottom.
  19. Unfortunately the wrong ones for the zed, the dash are 501 fitment
  20. Hi Bob, i dont mind if you want to come over, but it will be alot cheaper posting or putting a parcel on the redjet unless you can get a cheap day return. Anytime you want really, just let me know. Cheers Graham
  21. you wont need the red leds for temp and fuel if you have EL dials. And it reads you supply EL dials and me fit, ie either buy the EL dials yourself from say the zcentre and i will fit them as part of the dash option Cheers Graham
  22. The time control unit in the footwell, is what controls the interior light dimming. UK cars have it as standard and later series jap models. All models have time control units as it serves other functions like intermittent wiper dash lights etc, but not all had the interior light dimming. Jefftt has some units knocking around that will do the job
  23. Thank you Cyrus, hope you had a good new years eve, The 3 dials were not that expensive, i will try and dig out the link from the place i got them from. They are called plasma dials, i got mine in black, they already illuminate in blue and have red led segments rather than a needle. In the video i only have the volt meter wired and to be honest thats still the only one i hve wired in to work at the mo till i get the temp sensor fitted to the water pipe and the oil press sensor done The gauge holder is the mk1 version from the z centre £50, but you need to cut a nice big hole in your dash:sweatdrop: I will stick the led bulbs in with the chrome rad bracket, simple plug and play. Cheers Graham

Auto selector:£15 Ash tray £5 need the bulb holder loom, simply unplug ( about 6inches long) Interior light £3 Cigarette lighter led and glovebox led bulb £5 All include posting unless you want guaranteed next day delivery.
