Front end creaking
Cheers guys, that sounds reassuring. I have noticed the noise from the drivers side only, but i guess the right hand bush could be the culprit. Whats best to lubricate it with? grease, lithium grease or silcon oil? Cheers again Graham

Front end creaking
I t rains and pours lol I just had new front shocks, eibach springs and whiteline anti roll bar with downlinks fitted in Nov. I had the rear anti roll bars done at the same time. A couple of days ago after going through a few bends on a country road, i started to get a creaking/scraping sound. Im hoping something just needs tightening or at worst something else has snapped. Any ideas? Im going to take it back to the garage that fitted them next week when everythings back to normal, but im a bit apprehensive about driving too far/fast. Ive not got underneath for a visual yet, too bloody wet, but after trying to shake/push the front end around, i dont hear anything untoward. So its only when driving and obviously more noticeable over bumps Cheers Graham

I had some Z dust covers that got nicked, just stick to the standard ones now, never been touched. I actually caught the little fat kid who did it, but what can you do.:2guns::no::hang:

Id use TFR (traffic film remover) as used by professional car washers, i bought some off a mate of mine to do my van and the car wheels, it works a treat. It has to be diluted though, dont put strong acid cleaner on neat, or you will affect the laquer. Basically spray it on the wheels, leave for a few minutes and jet or hose off, no elbow work required. HTH

fan blower speed as a mind of its own!!!
It may have been sealed at the factory to prevent condensation. It may just be glued at the bezel end to the cover. It will be a case of pulling the casing straight off rather than twisting, you may be able to get the bolts out of the housing using 2 nuts locked together and trying to loosen them out of the housing. Let me know how you get on

Are they sealed, or do they have bulb holders, or do they come apart ok? If yes to the last two, then send em down for a tenner incl ret post. Cheers Graham

fan blower speed as a mind of its own!!!
Hi Andy I might have the answer to this one, possibly. When i took the pod apart to do the leds, the slider for the speed came out, i may have put the little copper runner contact the wrong way round when i put it all back together. So take the screws out of the rear cover of the pod, now the pod wont lift off like other series, it is attached to a ribbon cable, so you will have to lift up like its on a hinge. The ribbon cable is at the slider side of the pod. When you lift the rear cover up you will see the back of the speed slider on a bar, lift it out and you will see the 3 pronged copper contact sheet, turn it over and replace the slider, put it all back together and it should work as before. As stated, i couldnt test it my car as i have digital climate pod which has a different plug on the back HTH cheers Graham

relays
IIRC one relay under the dash for both, if your having problems with the indicators and not the hazard, then check the plug at the back of the hazard switch.
