  1. Well done on the new car. Gazwoz has certainly been responsible for a bringing a few crackers into the uk, and the club.
  2. read the description, it needs lots of welding on floor and sills, sounds like he got shafted by the seller, importing from US. i was looking at these last summer, as i really like this style of car from that era, these, Lancias, Fiats, etc
  3. bump as its fast approaching :) picked out the confirmed posts: 1. (adl) phoenix 2. Craig 3. Joely P 4. Chrisbasildon 5. ZEDDash 6. ZX-TT 7. bobba13 8. kgonzokia
  4. Just giving this a bump, as we are getting closer. After this month the remaining rooms will not be reserved for us and will be available to the public, so if you are planning to join in and stay, it would be good if you could call Paul and book yourselves in with a deposit sooner rather than later.
  5. coming along well Lee, nice one. we are coming up that way over Easter, so might pop in if we get a chance
  6. its ok, i think i found it, check now
  7. can you screenshot the error? have looked through all of your user settings and you have all the right subscribed member settings including messages.
  8. had similar issue, where one of the hinges was not aligned quite right, which prevented it from opening. looks like plenty of quirks to check before suspecting the cable itself
  9. I went to the bike show Saturday, and the car show didn't look very busy as we went past the doors. Certainly would not have wanted to pay full price for that one, compared to the NEC.
  10. Ah yes, completely forgot to mention subs while I was there.
  11. Haha, maybe. Although, I think you might kneed to rethink that  I checked the drain tube which seems to be fine, so I am not sure where the water has come from yet. I dried the carpet out yesterday and will check it again this weekend after some rain. And then decide if I am safe enough to sort that switch out or just leave it for the next visit.
  12. If there is some interest, we can certainly book a stand. I see it's £30 for a 10 car club pitch, outside the main halls. Then it is £13.50 per person entrance fee, and £21 if you are accepted for show n shine.
  13. Had my car in for timing belt and related parts, track down a boost leak and general check over. While it was there, I also managed to visit the Haynes museum and Funkysi before picking up the next day. All good. Thanks Jim.
  14. I have club banners I will bring with me
  15. 1. Chrisbasildon 2. Craig
  16. if there is interest from everyone else, i am happy to go for a club stand. the forms state someone has to be present prior to the show date to confirm positioning and marking out the club stand, are you ok for that? it also says pre-1990 cars except by arrangement. i presume you can take care of that issue for us too? ;)
  17. saturday at the excel bike show, not sure if by car or bike yet. am in bristol for the rest of the week, with the car at jimmers, so it depends how i feel when i get back friday night.
  18. bank holiday weekend and a half term week, cars and bikes, ticks lots of boxes :thumbup1:
  19. Drinks are on Mondo at the Pre AGM pub meet
  20. I think that referring to the account you are trying to pay FROM not TO Richie, combined with you not being logged in? Last payment into the club paypal was on the 10th, and no errors or emails received about any problems.
  21. Si, The trader subs have been reduced, exactly as you suggested. You mentioned it, we listened, and it's now a tiered system starting at £40. Has been that way for a while. As Gary said, we have to try and apply the forum rules fairly and consistently. It's a very tough position to be in for all of us. A bit of a catch 22. But how do we find the right balance? You posting pictures of your excellent work is effectively free advertising of your business,, whether intentional or not. But it is also you providing pictures to allow group buy customers from when you were a trader, to see the progress of their purchase. Customers recommending and posting picures of work done is the other side of the problem. We don't get all decisions right, but they are always discussed and debated with best intentions. I am sorry that this appears to be at odds with some of our member views too, but we do understand the issue,. If anyone can suggest a more robust way of applying these principles, please post them.
  22. it is that same weekend. planned to do a club drive and then caverns on saturday, with the wedding comvoy sunday, but as he say passed away, not sure if that will still happen. but i plan to still be there for the weekend anyway.
