My daughter calls it Toothless the Dragon: My ‘95 TT Z
having never been in any monster bhp zed other than Waz's ~450, i am worried about what it might do to my wallet if i did... but am hoping to get offered the chance at one of our 2018 meets :) am loving this thread though, clearly explaining the reasoning and thought process behind some of the decisions, and also sharing the outcome of expert advice. fortified performance tuning

Club Weekends 2018
We are going Friday night, to get an easy start in the morning, but might think about extending to Monday or Tuesday as well, as it's school hols. Waiting to hear on dates for a bike tour though. Sorted dates, cheers. Hopefully will have a price on those later. Nice one Andrew. Anyone wanting to book the Fat Lamb, there are only 12 rooms, so better book if you are thinking about going. Although all rooms are reserved for us as we have booked the weekend as a club. Paul will book you for the whole weekend, until we sort out which 2 nights we want, although you can stay all 3 if you want to pay the extra. I might do this with the family, not sure yet. Wont need a deposit yet, but he will contact you for £50 deposit nearer the time when we confirm the details probably in February. I will ask him if there are any other local places to recommend. If we can discuss which days we want to go and get that agreed soon with a poll, then can discuss what to do on those days and set up a poll to agree the format later. The day choice depends on arriving Friday night through bank holiday traffic, or arriving Saturday and travelling home on a bank holiday Monday.

Club Weekends 2018
good news guys. the hotel owner already has a bunch of decent routes available, as he caters for car clubs already, so i am hoping we can sort out a good agenda for a couple of days over the long weekend. and even if you don't stay there or if you are local, it would be good to all meet and eat together the night in between

Club Weekends 2018
although some of them are piggy backing with other events, we are trying to make them more of a weekend and social event. aligning with existing events makes it easier to justify a long journey and/or staying away for a change. hopefully, its a case "build it and they will come" Andrew ;-) although the Beaulieu and AGM are already well attended on the specific days

Club Weekends 2018
Club Weekends 2018 For 2018 we are trying to plann some club specific weekend events, rather than just daily events, covering the 3 main region of North, Central and South. All events include details of a hotel, and you can choose to stay at the same place, or somewhere else, or just attend the days you want to join us if local, up to you. Northern Event: Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, 25th-28th May. (This clashes with Modified Nationals in Peterborough, so could try to move this if members plan to attend ModNats). Exact dates to be confirmed, but either 25th-27th or 26th-28th. This is just an idea of the itinerary, and will vote or finalise nearer to the time. Day 1: Drive a route around the Southern Lakes and Yorkshire Dales Day 2: Visit Lakeland Motor Museum Myself and Richard will both be staying at the Fat Lamb, who have provided a weekend deal for us as a club, for anyone else that wants to stay. The Fat Lamb, Crossbank, Ravenstonedale, Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, CA17 4LL Call Paul on 015396 23242 £250 for 2 people for 2 nights, including breakfast and evening meal for both days. The evening meal is from a special menu, not the main menu. Dedicated thread https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?188554-Lakes-Weekend-Fat-Lamb-Inn-in-May Central Event and AGM: TBC 14th-15th July Saturday: Drive a route and visit Donington Grand Prix and Military Collection Sunday: Coventry Transport Museum and AGM Staying at the same Premier Inn at Hinckley as previous years Saturday night. Coventry Road, Hinckley LE10 0NB Southern Event: 27th-29th July Saturday 28th: Drive a route around New Forest and Dorset Coast, or visit Haynes International Motor Museum, or Bovington Tank Museum. To vote and confirm nearer to the time. Sunday 29th: Attend Simply Japanese at Beaulieu Friday and Saturday, I will be staying at Premier Inn Southampton West, Romsey Road, Ower, Romsey, SO51 6ZJ. Will probably plan an event towards end of September, region and venues to be confirmed. Ideas and feedback welcome. Will break these out into separate threads once we get an idea of interest.

welcome Scott and Debs, who i am sure is looking down and happy that you are doing something that makes you happy  there will be plenty of help offered from the members here, many of whom are long term owners and have a wealth of knowledge. if there are any of your shows that are suitable for our cars, then i am sure some of us would be more than happy to come along. do you have a link for details?

NEC Classic Car Show Pics
Was a shame Si could not attend, and unfortunately the notice was just too short for the members that I approached. I went back to the voting thread and worked my way down the results list PM'ing the members until there was only me left. Unfortunately, we just did not organise a hot standby from the results. Lesson for next year. As I was attending the show anyway, it was fine for me to bring the car, albeit completely unprepped. I am glad my car scrubbed up well enough to be presented, thanks to the bit of Joel magic, and my make shift wash routine that had Joel cowering and whimpering in the corner.. But all ended well, especially when we managed to obtain power for the polisher from the Figaro stand
