  1. not too sure, probably agree that saturday night. but i doubt it would be before 9?
  2. there are a few of us that will be zedless for this unfortunately :( but will still be going regardless :) zeds might even be outnumbered at this rate...
  3. sorry Gary, looks like we wont be able to make it :( breaking the car has really put a spanner in the works this week.
  4. yes, sorry, forgot to add it. https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/
  5. i got my H3C fitting bulbs from here Gary, before i swapped to HID, if you were looking for a source?
  6. Part 1: https://goo.gl/maps/6bm9sbTSaox Part 2: https://goo.gl/maps/Yfyv3uMLuDD2
  7. I cant find the saved map files, must have left them on my previous work laptop :( What i do have are the screen captures that i sent to confirm the route with Tony previously. I will have a go at recreating the google files again, but if anyone else is more adept, and also can upload to their own satnav and run point, then that would be ideal :thumbup1: We can change the second route, to go via Torver, Conston, Bowness, to get more scenic drivetime, and bypass the Museum altogether if we want, its all flexible. Map1: Fat Lamb to Wasdale Head Map2: Wasdale Head to Fat Lamb via Lakeland Motor Museum.
  8. They look like Mongoose/Blue Flame exhausts. Very popular, as they enhance the OEM look ;-)
  9. not if you wanted to use it for the purpose it was built for
  10. ok, will see what i can get to tonight, but i dont get home until 7, so not much light left by the time i start doing anything.
  11. its a bit deeper tone but similar to lifter rattle. comes in as soon as you put any load/revs, but not while idling. idles like it has a very slight misfire https://www.facebook.com/craig.stratton.3/posts/10212647045317177
  12. My car has developed a nasty rattle, on the way home from Battlesbridge and visiting GSC. So it will be off the road for a while while I get some advice on the problem and work out what to do. This means I will have my vw at the Lakes, Coventry, Simply Japanese, unless some miracle occurs. :( Might post some video clips tomorrow so we can play "name that tune"

have you got any details on jdmcombe and i can add to the list Jack. member enthusiasm for JAE has dropped off over the last few years, so we have not applied for a plot.
  14. still just the 5 of us? is it worth having a club stand, or just turning up together? lucky you remembered about it Russ :thumbup1:
  15. yes, but using the standard Royalmail postie service for parcels, rather than Parcelforce service. In my experience, the postie service has always been more reliable of the two.
  16. sorry to hear that Tony. hope whatever is in the way goes well for you. i guess we will be following a satnav or pre-written route, and hopefully not get lost
  17. i always think the Royal Mail are always worth the extra cost over the couriers
  18. ah yes, forgot about this, do we have to apply in advance or turn up on the day?
  19. definitely a possibility, but i wonder if you can actually attend as a spectator? Or if you can only attend as a display car? I have stuck a reminder in my diary to apply for next year
  20. nothing organised as a club, although not sure if any members have signed up individually.
  21. looks like last friday was the last date to register to attend as a club or exhibitor, and all members attending would need to use the promo code to get their vehicle passes before friday. i will email and check, but might have missed the boat on this one. the summer one clashes with the German V Jap show that we have applied for.
  22. thanks, i will be checking them again, but when i put water down it before, it came out of the pipe behind the indicator. unless it is leaking AND allowing water past. i will remove more stuff this time to investigate
  23. not done, but hope to do this weekend if i get a dry day, is track down the water inlet to my passenger footwell lake. targa drain tube seems to be working fine, and its not heater matrix, so will have to dig deeper, as well as remove seat and try to dry out the carpet and underlay. also will be digging out the car cover from the back of the shed to put on
