  1. mid to high twenties which isn't too bad.
  2. had a 535 saloon and a 540 touring, both great cars. I'd stick with the 540 as it's got more power but mpg is very similar. Fantastic car all round though did notice that the touring was not as stiff as the saloon so would shake if you caught a bump mid corner.
  3. best off doing this another way and leaving the suspension alone. I'd suggest lowering the offset of the wheels, or trimming the lip on the arches, or a combination of both.
  4. door card off, but that's less than a 5min job
  5. yup, it worked, but you need to find some better pics :)
  6. aftermarket downpipes need american style decats, then they'll join the centre x/h section and then back boxes
  7. The fit is really easy, it's exactly the same as the sensor for a boost controller
  8. MAP sensor plugged into a vac line and a different ECU or a converter, then remap
  9. Wow, what did that cost to do?
  10. Mustang fastback is definitely winning :)
  11. yup, that's Bob loading up to go home, I can see my wife's head too as we were talking to him at the time :)
  12. You need to identify what it is first!
  13. still need rear seats and a boot! That Camaro is nice Daz :)
  14. Won't be every day car. I live in the middle of Brighton, everything is walking distance and I take the train to work. Will be in storage with the Zed outside of brighton, kept on charge so will be for day trips, weekends away etc VXr8 is a no no, and the mercs will loose too much money, thoughthe older CL's are tempting
  15. Eleanor would be the winner, but no idea where to source or what they cost?
  16. :punk: rear seats & boot - figures for me. Will probably get el cheapo golf too or something to park on the street and cart rubbish round in
  17. I reckon they're too big for Uk roads
  18. I'd be happy to spend up to 30k for the right thing, but wouldn't be wanting to worry about serious maintenance at that level ie rust! Would prefer to spend less and still get something interesting, but can't really be a project either, one of those is enough.
  19. I was thinking these kind of lines http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2831197.htm That Camaro is very nice, but fails on the boot front!
  20. Pics are welcome, kind of the point ;) also not too worried about being practical, as long as it's got a boot and some small seats in the rear - I have a Mini as the family car at the moment (granted it's a clubman)
  21. figured, but at least I doubt they'll loose much money now, just maintenance.
  22. Wanting to change the Mini for something else, was going to go for an E46 M3 but the other half doesn't like them :( Running a highly modded Z32 means I do need to have her 'blessing' for the family car.. Now looking at classic mustangs so I can scratch the muscle car itch, and I'm onto a winner as classic muscle cars are popular with the wife! Anyone know much about them? Looking at 65-70 Mustang, or maybe early shape camaro's. Challengers etc are nice but far too big. I like the styling and I want a big rumbly v8 Thoughts?
  23. Google is your friend :). Which turbos are they out of interest?
  24. How did you get on? Saw the car parked up and looked good, but didn't see you around to talk to
