  1. Twin gt35 = 1200hp
  2. single turbo again? GT35 is capable of that on it's own obviously much bigger than the standard OEM ones, stock one could probably nearly fit in the inlet of the GT35!
  3. There's a few in the US, very similar to the HKS 2530 in terms of performance, maybe a little more up top.
  4. there is no best turbo, depends on what results you want and what you want to spend on turbo vs supporting mods
  5. They are good turbo's, I've replied on your other thread re the wastegates. What are your other mods and plans?
  6. That's what boost controllers are for, the wastegates sets your minimum boost
  7. Buy a turbo for the 300zx, or if they're too expensive, then get yours reconditioned The hassle and heartache of making something else to fit will soon undo the savings and even then you'll have mixed results
  8. it's a big pressurised bottle of oil, plumbed into your oil sump. With the aid of pressure sensors, if it detects your oil pressure dropping( eg during a long high speed turn) it will release contents of the bottle, at pressure to help keep engine oil pressure and avoid engine failure.
  9. Parcel shelf is fine, that's where I've seen most of them plumbed in, just make sure it's secure!
  10. neither, stick to side mounts
  11. I'd rather pay full whack for a kit like this and keep it exclusive if it was me
  12. Also, if your getting stuff from rhdjapan I bought a few body kit stuff from them and they did a good job
  13. Depends on where you go but I'd reckon at least 4k for fitting and spraying from a proven body shop comfortable with doing modifications
  14. Jimmer is right, go with a GT25 based kit for bolt on. Don't mess around with turbo's for other cars because it will be a load of hassle
  15. yes, but the GT28RS actually works very well on the VG30 (in 0.64 AR trim) on the other hand, the GT2871r is quite laggy - remember you only have 1.5ltr to push each one on. These are big turbo's and need a fair bit of supporting mods. Comes back to how much power, intended use and budget
  16. you should be looking at GT range ones at least, and the GTX ones are starting to be available instead of just picking turbo's, start be thinking about what your goals are in terms of power, response and where you'll be using it (road / track / drag)
  17. It's because he'll be running 330 discs on the front and 356 rear, nothing to do with number of pistons
  18. Maybe i'm missing something, but how do you know they'll fit without the offset?
  19. Sweden run sounds very interesting!
  20. who did the turbo swap? Sounds like a lot of basic things are wrong, so suggest you start with a boost leak test & conzult as others have mentioned
  21. doesn't make sense, if he was rebuilding properly it would cost at least 2k to do that. So why's he bothering?
  22. common issue with 15mm spacers for Nissans from what I've seen

I have the BDE ones, they are very nice!
  24. that's about right actually, E85 needs about 30% more fuel delivery. Normal rule of them is injector size is good for about the same rwhp, eg 550cc are good for 550rwhp so 615cc -30% is around 400 so good for approx 400rwp. Very rough but gives you an idea
