  1. glad it went well, 1:45 is actually very good! The club RWD for 2011 on the P-zero tires was 1:45.144, and they were road tires rather than semi-slicks. Very promising results - well done.
  2. Yup, providing the car survives I intend to go to every round :D Few more pics
  3. looks a bit odd without mirrors, hopefully they'll be here next week along with the missing rear qtr window and under boot trim. Front calipers will be PC'd black at some point too
  4. You've got it the wrong way around, rears from set1 and front from set 2 and you're good
  5. fancy helping with the geometry setups? Should go nicely with your course
  6. Today's update: Some goodies from Demon Tweeks arrived - Racesuit, gloves and front tow strap :) Still need to sort boots, full face helmet + rear tow hooks
  7. looking forward to catching up Pete :) Pretty sure the Nos is only at the top-end anyway from the graphs I've seen, not for spool-up. Only asking, as club rules state no Nos, not sure how they police it, guess you could leave the bootle out :)
  8. since you asked nicely, here's one from today. Just finished being detailed by ValetMagic. Collecting her again on Friday so will take more pics from different angles. I have very few photos post respray as any time I spend with the car I'm driving!
  9. have pencilled it in the diary, but not committed yet, will see how the next few months go and how the family get on with that many car related weekend! Looking forward to seeing you at Cadwell, what are you doing about the NOS as that's not allowed in Club class?
  10. ok, in an effort to make sure I actually use the car, and because I've always wanted to do it, I've signed myself up for this year's TimeAttack. I'll be in Club RWD class, and I imagine against some very stiff competition from what i can see from previous years. Never done anything like this before, just a couple of track days, so it's going to be a huge learning curve :crying: Dates are below, and if you can make it then please come along and say hi, and if you're unlucky I'll rope you in to help too! I'll keep this thread updated with progress Wish me luck!
  11. *cough* 10.5" *cough* :whistling:
  12. the white one has vordestein or whatever they're called, copies of volk TE-37
  13. are you leaving your hatch in bare carbon? I like the CSL but how would see it fitting with the c/f boot?
  14. That's a shame, I'm away that weekend, looking at dates in April though. Are you signed up to TA now? Doing the whole year or just a few events?
  15. unless I'm mistaken, if the spark's blowing out, you'll get misfire, not det ... the plugs won't do any harm, but you sure you're fixing the right problem?
  16. you should keep the swage lines, compliments the shape of the car. Looks over weight with them all gone, and just a mess if you only loose some of it
  17. you need to do some research and understand what sizes do fit, then use an offset calculator to comapre the differences between a known good fit and your proposed sizes. Also Tire size and how much arch work you're prepared to do needs to be factored. FYI depending on tire the fronts could be made to fit, rears will be way out
  18. yes, sorry, meant to quote to make it clearer
  19. should be fine, a 285 tire will need arch rolling on the rear from what I've seen.
  20. They're not bad actually, R888 seem wider than other brands for the same size, and they have a stiff sidewall which helps.
  21. it's more the brand, I run 265's on a 10.5 (at the front) and they're fine.
  22. o2 sensors cruising on motorway, part throttle, it will stutter, then if you floor it, it will sort itself out. 02 sensors aren't used at full throttle hence no problem then
  23. for comparison, they'll stick out 48mm more than mine, my arches are rolled, pulled & flared.
