  1. beyond camber and arch flair, you'll need a wide arch kit
  2. that'll be PPG, don't think I'm ready for straight cut gears though!
  3. lol, that's exactly what I'm looking at now as I reckon it's cheaper to buy the whole box than to refurb!
  4. lol, you're mad. stick it in storage till space isn't an issue
  5. What I'm trying to figure though is do we actually need the gears, I've not read of people breaking the gears on the 300, just the syncros. Gtr's break the gears a lot, but they put a lot more pressure on them due to the extra traction
  6. any syncro issues with gears grinding?
  7. PS it's been quite fun trawling through all the old gearbox threads with Macca & Kirbz throwing their views around :) I'm asking as my syncro's are gone, and thinking if it's worth getting a gear kit or just refresh the box with the new type syncro's. Also, even with the gear kit, how does that protect the syncro's to stop it happening again?
  8. anyone have one? opinions?
  9. good to see it up and running and that you all escaped unharmed!
  10. thanks for all the feedback - leaning between the P38 and the Jeep at the moment. What are the views on using a big estate eg a6 avant or something similar?
  11. any recommendations, not really ventured into that side of things before. Looking for something to tow trailor + slicktop to events without hassle Needs to be comfortable so I can take family with me and for other occasions, decent size boot for spare set of tires, tools etc Currently looking at Jeep Grand Cherokee's as they seem inexpensive for what they are. Thoughts?
  12. H1 is the main beam If you don't want them, I'll take them off you
  13. What are you doing with the rangie?
  14. don't see why the 2 wouldn't work in unison you't won't be footbraking and pulling hydraulic handbrake at the same time, so ABS will have nothing to do.
  15. I had this once, caused by duff water temp sensor. Ecu over fuels to compensate, also caused the aircon elec fan to come on
  16. I bet that's the best angle though, actually thought it would be wider too Take some from the back or 3/4 view
  17. let's see that URAS one on then :)
  18. Castle Coombe / Japfest is a good way to introduce yourself, though not a forgiving track. Bedford has loads of runoff if that's a concern
  19. Nitron 3way adj coilovers, adjustable arms everywhere, solid subframe & diff bushes, poly bushes everywhere else on a slicktop with 10pt weld in cage tires are 19" 305/30 R888
  20. what's the fiat like with 550hp through the front wheels?
  21. You're right about injectors etc, it starts getting very expensive and a load of hassle once you've done the usual chip / exhaust/intake. On top of that, even if you're prepared to spend the money, getting it all to work together afterwords is still a challenge
  22. mine's great :) with the right suspension and tires they are fine, mine holds full boost in 2nd gear, just throws you down the road, no fuss.
  23. yes, me, and they were sold :)
  24. I'd guess they just gave him the wrong turbo assuming he wanted a single :)
