  1. yup, the MAF's can be an upgrade, but will requeire a remap, you also have the more proven method of switching to dual intake to get the same benefit. Q45 Throttle bodies are way to big as Smithy says, only useful if you plan on creating a new plenum with 1 TB, in which case a Q45 one will be ideal :) Still a waste of time/money though!
  2. yup, stoptech spend ages sizing piston sizes to avoid this Not bothered reading the rest of the thread but if you see improved braking under the standing on pedal scenario at 70mph or less, then you had a problem with your stock brakes. Bigger brakes only make a difference for repeated stops and better retardation for much lighter pedal pressure.
  3. or I have a spare set of full 2.5" turbo to TB pipes, black with black couplers that you might be interested in :)
  4. might be worth giving Silverbullit a ring to see if he has anytime today
  5. it's not bad, looked well executed when I looked round it afew weeks ago at a car show in Brighton
  6. that's a big shame, I was hoping to see an update from the drag challenge. I think do what you have to do, these things will always be a black hole financially. Take it off the road till you can afford to do more or break it, a lot of that decision will come down to finances and also where you get the enjoyment, the building, or the end product.
  7. stock injectors are only good for about 14-15psi as long as you have a good ecu... any more and you will be running lean somewhere and are riding a time bomb...
  8. no worries, I'll return your PM on the other site :)
  9. upping the rev limit will do the job but not with the 4.1 rear end! I was hoping to go to Japfest but have to pull out, car is still in the bodyshop for a respray :( Really enjoyed last years too...
  10. bought mine from demon tweeks, this was several years ago though I also have the GT one for passengers :)
  11. let us know when the next session is, hopefully I'll join you :)
  12. where in Brighton? just moved down myself
  13. if you could and I'll ask Marco to send tickets direct to you
  14. looks like I won't be able to make it so if you can sort it with zclub you can buy my pass. Also have a track slot if interested
  15. what brand tires out of interest? If the turbos have been changed, they could quite easily be mismatched for the engine and end up with laggy/spikey performance without actually producing that much extra power.
  16. I'm with Yowser on this, I found it easier to get stuff into the SWB boot compared to the LWB... until I put the cage in anyway!
  17. the blue one on ebay is nice but for some reason they've blended the bumper and wings together ...
  18. no, you don't have to. pulley gives nice gains though :)
  19. it's not a bad example as far as ebay zed's go!
  20. you answered it yourself, stock brakes work well with decent pads providing you haven't got any seized pistons in the calipers
  21. what kind of time frame are you hoping to achieve this and how long does it take you now?
  22. search for B&B or billy boat :)
  23. buy wheels that fit :) it'll be cheaper!
  24. head gaskets don't seem to be an issue unless the car overheats!
