  1. looking great, won't be long now!
  2. Speciality Z is the original source for 3" downpipes
  3. Personally I think ams is crap quality and they do no R&D, just rip off other products, and poorly at that
  4. Bob has a run with and without nitrous. Think is said it here or in another similar thread that 3" cat back makes 10-20hp at the top end of 700+ car based on testing in the US, the real benefit is the downpipes and earlier part of the decat
  5. I have a full 3" system yes. 3" downpipe shows little to no pressure drop compared to a 2.5" downpipe, even on stock turbos. in terms of the backboxes, it's less important, from tests done in the states it makes 10-20hp difference at the very top end with big turbo's. The main benefit is from the downpipes
  6. I will have to turn the boost up then! Once I put it all back together that is Bob has bigger turbo's now too...
  7. New pics, still have some blemishes in the finish (I'm being really fussy) so got a refund and will advertise for 1800 ono offset is 35, just add a set of stickers to suit your colour scheme :D ebay link
  8. PS I have an OS 2 plate that's been refurbished on another car I picked up for parts. You're welcome to try that?
  9. RPS Carbon - Carbon on mine, never had a problem, and easy to use. Otherwise you need to look at other twin/triple disc setups from the likes of HKS/ Os Giken, Exedy etc RPS Street Max is rated for your power, but since it's your track car I would be more tempted to go for the above! I have no experience of the puck type so can't help there
  10. only a few years!! both relatively standard at that point too
  11. This is the correct answer, only exception is any top speed runs at elvington or bruntingthorpe, but you'll need a lot of power to get there
  12. Gutted for you, know how you feel having been through similar experiences. Fingers crossed you caught it early to minimise expense later and that you can get the other engine in asap and keep on track for TOTB Let me know if I can help at all
  13. modifying the tank bulkhead for new lines, starting with taking the old ones off lots of cleaning up needed on the underside to make it flat for new connectors
  14. Since the rear subframe is off, I've dropped the fuel tank, removed all the lines and current fuel system ready for the new setup. tank off lines off pumps out inj, rails & lines out
  15. Did you have any data logging from the 2 days to see what happened? I'm guessing Dan is looking at all that, be good to know what happened with the temps and oil pressure. Think you mentioned overheating issues which sounds weird given low boost and short sprints.
  16. sh!t, that's not good. Any nasty noises at any point?
  17. sounds like it's running on 5 to be honest
  18. how are the o2 sensors?
  19. As an fy most fg wings for the 300 are no wider than stock
  20. Looking good Bob, we're there any RWD drive cars to compare against? Will be great once you get the remaining issues ironed out
  21. Sounds like a vac/boost leak
  22. Needs a map rather than generic chip, he's just too busy fixing other people's zeds to do anything with his own
  23. Yes it will, but you need to give it to Noel first!
