  1. black or leave as is for stock calipers, especially behind 19's
  2. heavier than you'd think considering they're forged
  3. Wrap looks good, though that's a serious angle of attack on the wing! Today I disconnected everything from the rear subframe ready to remove it tomorrow
  4. Get them redone, too much front caster and too much rear camber
  5. the quaife helps too ;) however, it's shocking how many zeds have cheap, crappy tires fitted. A premium tire makes a huge difference, then R888's and the like are another step after that
  6. Z1 aluminum is fine, running on mine without issue at 700+
  7. as expected, you've probably pinched the oring so it's shorting on the block, and staying open. Remove the injector and re-fit carefully. then try again!
  8. I would say this too, but you say you can turn it over by hand?
  9. Because it runs to the gearbox and all associated sensors
  10. I'm sure Noel would also be interested
  11. Hi Bob, I'm interested, wouldn't be able to commit till much nearer the time, I'm keeping the weekend free though :)
  12. You want a half cage, a harness bar without the roll-over hoop is dangerous
  13. As Pete said, I'm taking the year off and focusing on family time and all the home improvements I didn't do last year!
  14. depending on the severity of the leak, you could still boost past 6psi, but need more wastegate duty to do so if you had a controller. If this has only happened since fitting the FMIC then very likely you have a loose coupling or even a leak from the IC itself
  15. Pentroof for me, but again, biased and needs complimenting kit
  16. This place is a lot older than 12yrs, I think it had been going 5+yrs when I joined. Just means we're all getting old!
  17. Good to see updates, been following progress on the AME page. Glad the tubs finally turned up!
  18. if you're looking for something simple, I just attached a long tow strap to the suspension turret, worked every time I needed it
  19. good, new tires and warmer weather and it should grip much better then :) Weight at 1600 with fluids and driver is lighter than standard, but far from lightweight! Did you weigh the red one for comparison? fyi - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?137277-the-weight-question
  20. excellent progress. What tires do you have on now, and how old? You should be able to hold 3rd gear easily, even 2nd with the right tires and suspension setup
  21. sounds like a leak. If anything, the FMIC if it performs better than the SMIC will make it leaner, not richer...
  22. I was trying to find it the other day as I'm sure we had a banner to start using it a few weeks ago. Sure it was split out into multiple sections and the like, that or I was imagining it!
