as expected, you've probably pinched the oring so it's shorting on the block, and staying open. Remove the injector and re-fit carefully. then try again!

depending on the severity of the leak, you could still boost past 6psi, but need more wastegate duty to do so if you had a controller. If this has only happened since fitting the FMIC then very likely you have a loose coupling or even a leak from the IC itself

if you're looking for something simple, I just attached a long tow strap to the suspension turret, worked every time I needed it

excellent progress. What tires do you have on now, and how old? You should be able to hold 3rd gear easily, even 2nd with the right tires and suspension setup

sounds like a leak. If anything, the FMIC if it performs better than the SMIC will make it leaner, not richer...
