  1. Looking box fresh, nice work all. I'm not sold on the arches but that's a preference thing. Looking forward to seeing it all back together. Pete - what's the new lexan for?
  2. The r35 engine ... Else a vg30dett !!
  3. Stock pump is good for 600+ if it's in good condition
  4. Whenever you're ready mate :)
  5. hmm, I would have said a big air leak, so they don't spool. But if it came back, then maybe a turbo had seized, then finally free'd up again. Be interesting to know if starts happening on a regular basis
  6. and to add, it only really works up to about 3500rpm, at which point there's too much mechanical noise and the ecu ignores it
  7. I have a TT subframe with solid bushings and adjustable arms etc, will be available soon as a package if you're interested
  8. no, an exhaust pop won't trigger the knock sensor
  9. safety boost will be cleared by turning ignition off/on ...
  10. Anybody else interested in these if I order a set of them? Price will be £20 - £25 depending on customs and postage costs for me to forward
  11. it's more to do with spring rate, then setting the damper to control said springs ..
  12. I was swapping texts with him this morning, yes he's busy but I'm sure he'll get back to you
  13. you should put a thicker head gasket on to compensate. In terms of compression ratio, depends how much boost you intend on running on which fuel
  14. and the splitter will be chassis mounted, so no stress on bumper
  15. it will be weaker, so it will most likely break if I hit it, however, I will also have a serious splitter fitted over the winter which should protect it, ie the splitter will be taking the hits / curbs !
  16. Excellent work as always, looking forward to receiving it. The cars going on a diet hopefully to loose weight overall and offset a few other things that are being added. Something to keep me busy over the winter anyway!
  17. That was quick! can you add another splitter too please as I've passed the other one on with my old bumper
  18. Mine was made by Andy Robinson, all his are made to measure - not cheap though! Insurance - never been a problem Does it work, yes, it's instantly noticeable how much better the suspension works. Also, given both Bob and I have smacked the cars the damage hasn't been as bad as you'd expect. In terms of safety, hopefully I'll never find out
  19. Keep the updates coming :) On the fuel tank, I think it's an interesting idea, my concern would be having it off centre will mean your diagonal weights will change with fuel level which could impact the handling
  20. made it onto the yearly calendar run by twinturbo.net , think i'll be ordering a few of those :) http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2561724/2014-Calendar-winners.html
  21. i think mark derby has the same ones, very good turbos. be interesting to the see the results through the different phases. They are essentially the gt28rs but with a billet compresser wheel for less weights and a more modern design
  22. I have a trailer if you want it moved ...
