  1. yeah, I know :) still shouldn't smoke though! Anyhow, as long as your happy with it all that's the main thing, the power is very good and spool is pretty decent too.
  2. was there in the first run too once you got passed the overfuelling, I'd say the turbo seals are gone personally
  3. What was the spool up like? I've read from years ago issues with pe1420 wastegate flap catching on the downpipe so doesn't close properly impacting peak boost and spool
  4. now we have more details of the tubs, I'd say 530-560, not sure what to expect from a spool perspective. Very brave going for godspeed turbo's though!
  5. yes, I'm not assuming what he has, I was disagreeing with your sweeping statement that most aftermarket turbos spool around 4k.
  6. disagree, way too many variables to make such a sweeping statement. Depends on the compressor map of the turbo, breathing mods(intake & exhaust), cams, head work, timing, map, boost leaks....
  7. I do already know yes, but again people are not understanding what let's the Zed make serious power. Nick's made good power for 2 reasons, 2.5 IC piping and 3" downpipes & exhaust ...
  8. blimey, I think eveyone has seen a few other recent dyno's and now getting abit carried away with their guesses!
  9. Essentially yes! It was at Millbrook, fantastic facility :)
  10. I was a no show, some problems with the engine on Saturday meant it wasn't worth the risk. Suspect I may have done some damage while messing around on a skid pan earlier in the week.
  11. the stock 2" piping is a huge restriction. I would say leave the dividers there for now
  12. I know and you'll be happy!
  13. Hi Rich, Do you have have 2.5" IC piping and bigger Throttle Bodies?
  14. I wouldn't worry about that, mine was mapped with less than 5 miles on it. The process of mapping runs it in pretty quickly!

  16. good result but sorry to hear about the compression numbers. Can't see that resolving itself to be honest

  18. Baz, AFR is in the high 10's hence the smoke. Either the ECU us way off, or you have a boost leak, or both! PS if a dyno operator can't keep the car hooked up at 400hp, go somewhere else in future
  19. Which Graph are you looking at? Also ECU doesn't monitor lambda on full throttle, it goes off the fuelling tables based on MAF readings. Boost setting doesn't matter, the ECU should be tuned for any given load value....
  20. yup, running very rich, did they log AFR for the run?
  21. I would remove it given your mods yes, not worth the hassle of trying to sort it out after.
  22. Yes, the 3" downpipe can cause boost creep with big turbos and full breather mods. Took me a while to diagnose as didn't have it until I switched to a better flowing cat back It's fixed by removing the divider, it gives enough room around the wastegate to exit the gases it needs
  23. Lol, that was silverbullit, don't do it that way, it filled the tank and emptied the sump after 2 sessions at castle coombe, didn't end well
