  1. I was thinking along the same lines re vacuum hoses, will start over-hauling them soon. PS aftermarket boost-gauge :D
  2. OK guys, I think this co-incides with the cold weather, but on cold start-up my vaccum is only reading around -10 psi, and then slowly goes to -18/-20 after a few minutes of idling.. (where it always used to be) If I start to drive it when it's like that it's very lumpy :( I've hunted around the engine but can't find any leaks when it happens - so any ideas? I've already got a new coolant sensor which I'm putting on in the morning, so I'll see if that helps.
  3. I see you finally chose some wheels though
  4. FFS, why is it taking them so long? gutted for you:(

  6. Not even going to pretend I knew that, but came accross some pics that at least showed the affect :)

if you do a search you'll find loads of discussions on this... Loads of different companies recomended by different people due to age, area, NCB etc. I'm 23, living in London and Dorset Insurance was the best for me (modified Import TT)
  13. Came across these and thought it would help show what people are talking about. Before casting flash removed
  14. this might be the problem then as you should have felt a difference when crusing or only using a small amount of throttle. You need to hook up to a conzult so you can see the readings. I used to have problems when crusing and chaning speed slightly on the motorway, but would be fine when flooring it. 02 sensors sorted it for me :)
  15. So that's Magnum 5 Jaffa Kia fingerpig Brian Cornish marshall2702 smw1 - maybe How many do you need Vijay? And does it matter if some are Uk and others Jap ones / NA etc

  21. ahh shit!! Really sorry to see that mate. Just glad you've got the guys insurance etc, so it'll just be a pain waiting to get it sorted. Let me know if there's anything I can do. James:cry:
  22. All the best. Visted a mate once after he'd had his appendix out to find him tripping on Morphine
  23. just confirming I'm still definately interested at that price :D Vijay - do they come with fitting instructions? Heard lots of horror stories about removing needles (that or I come over to your place with a tipple of your choice ;) )
