  2. Ditto
  3. I think they are Greddy, though some have said they look like Stillen ones
  4. me likey, any idea how much they are??
  5. ohh yeah, she's midnight blue - not many around that colour. Personally I think it quite suits the sleek shape, but I would say that
  6. nope and nope :slap: They are 17x9 Rays Evolution minus centre caps!! Nice wheels, though a bugger to clean, and I wish they were 18's
  7. Ok, so when i get the SOB off it's gonna be knackered:slap: Is it just the bolt that needs replacing or is it attached to the metal pipe. Just wondering so I can get everything I need off of AndyZ before I start ;)
  8. Ok Nut is totally fu$$ed. I've re-attached the original hose and will bleed so at least I can drive again. Long term though, what's the best way to remove a rounded nut, and is it attached to the metal line coing from the box with lines to master cylinder and bonnet bleed point. If so will I need to get another one from AndyZ Cheers guys!!
  9. here's the site, but I can't get on at the mo either http://www.apexi-usa.com/
  10. fitting new clutch hose today, took it off the slave cylinder no problem, but I've rounded the nut on the other end trying to get it off!!. I've soaked it with WD40 for now and I'm gonna watch the F1, so hopefully it might come off later. Any advise? Or should I just put it all back together with original hose and take it to a garage.... James
  11. that was on http://www.300zxclub.com/
  12. the Apexi site has all the manuals in pdf format so you can download and read them in English!!
  13. That's the whole point, you're removing them. The piping is there to allow the re-circ's to work. You don't need the re-circ's anymore because you'r BOV's vent the air. So you can either leave them there and have both BOV and re-circ's working, remove the vacuum line from the re-circ's so they are permenantly shut, or jsut remove the whole lot and block the pipes off.
  14. from what I've read Greddy may well have cured the problem as I think it's been a while since someone's cracked. That or everybody is re-enforcing them now just in case any-way. PS The pentroof ones are supposed to be great but stupidly expensive
  15. as Alex said all depends what you want.. big bhp usually means more lag, but you can then change your's cams etc to make better use of that. Or go for a sensible size that'll suit your mods and spool up the quickest
  16. best people to ask would be SE.... you can find their number in one of the RR day thread in the Events section
  17. hopefully prices have bottomed out and only the shit ones are now dirt cheap :D At least you can buy it back off the insurance co again!!
  18. Ohh yeah, and I think Stu got carried away with cut & paste as he has definately got his Zed back!!
  19. Stu – no problem about the lift, good excuse to go down to SE for the first time and it was good fun! As for SE, I was very impressed by Pete’s professionalism, honesty and knowledge. Also appreciated him taking time out of his day to talk to us both, learnt a lot. I for one will be seriously considering them for future work when the need arises. James
  20. same question as me then. Would have thought all of them...
  21. to be honest unless you're prepared to do a lot of work yourself you'll be better off saving up and getting a better example. They are that cheap for a reason. Try looking around the 3-4k region for na's and about 5k for a TT i guess. Obviously well cared for mint ones will be worth more. Same as anything really, but these cars can be expensive to maintain so you don't want to buy a plum :slap: Of course you could find yourself a bargain that only needs some simple stuff done to it to get it back to full health ;)
  22. what they are saying is that you can put the sender there no problem, but that pipe doesn't have a constant flow of coolant through it so you won't always be reading the correct temp.
  23. If your putting the bov's where the re-circ's are, you attach the bottom hose and vac line to the bov and you blank off the pipe coming from the intake to the re-circ. Follow the write up on Stu's site http://www.300zx-mods.co.uk/BOVS.htm
  24. that'll be me then mate :D got a spare one from when one of mine went and I replaced it with a pair of candles  give me a buzz on 07855 404254. Will be around tomorrow morning, otherwise we can sort something over the weekend
