well you're welcome to try mine!! I'm happy with it even though it's a bitch in traffic - basically you forget about smooth pull away's. It's very good once on the move, and you learn to heel and toe pretty quick when changing down for engine braking :o James PS you'll need a matching flywheel with that

Hoorah, with the aid of AndyP's crow foot and a friendly builders bit of scaffolding I got the passanger one off too. Going to fill her up now and see what my mpg is like :D

yup, found myself a nice little corner to come flying out of sideways :D getting more confident with the car too. Also finding I'm loosing traction at the top end of first going in a straight line if the road isn't perfect. All good fun though!

I'll let Jaz answer, but I think he was more than surprised. Went out in his too, feels roughly as quick but much smoother. Don't get that kick in the back from the turbo's which is a real shame.

so what was wrong with the old plugs, I think there's a pic somewhere which tells you how to diagnose engine problems from the discolouration of plugs. Would be interesting to find out. Hopefully save you another set of plugs in a few months time too :D

couldn't help myself :( first time I've met him an' all. What will Louise say! Anyway, he was asking about auto manual conversions, and as he has similar mods to me I took hime for a spin for comparison. Obviously I know feck all about the conversion itself though.:p
