  1. Could also be the heatshields on your exhaust rattling, may be worth checking out
  2. Hi, I've got some Metal matrix ones and I'm very happy with them, not too pricey either. Otherwise Smithy has a group buy going on for those Carbon/Kevlar ones

Do you have the shims between brake pads/caliper? They make a big difference. Also worth checking if your pads need changing soon...
  4. sounds good, can wee see the graph? :)
  5. I see another FAQ section coming ;)
  6. WhooHoo Pool!!
  7. Trying to sort tires out today, probably get set some F1's to match the front
  8. Got back to the car last night to discover my slow puncture had become a serious pucture, so changed for the spare, drove 5 mins up the road and the spare went POP too  Not surprising for a 14year old tyre I guess! Then had to wait 3 hours for a lowloader to take me and Louise home. (all of 4 miles..) Thankfully the lowloader operator was very good, no damage to the car at all by using various bits of timber to avoid scraping  Anyway, decided to get some nice new rear tires, a can of foam, and chuck the spare in the bin :D
  9. I'll catch up after work, how come the early start?
  10. or Mike Feeny, or through Courtesey Nissan
  11. WOT = wide open throttle ;)
  12. You should be getting around 0.4V on idle, and I think it's around 4V on WOT. Don't know which wire it is off the top of my head, do a quick search or look at AndyP's site in the links section.
  13. Agree with John, just had mine done as my subframe bushes were leaking, so I had Poly bushes all round and they make a huge difference, car feels a lot lighter, with only a slightly firmer ride. You do get to here the diff whine a bit more though.
  14. I ended upo just sanding the surface smooth and then sanding the hook at the back to get it to fit back on, saved padding it out, and looks just fine on the car.. Pics of them on the car please :)
  15. Sorry should have put something to compare size wise in the shot. Anyway I'm going to bed and my car is with MJP, but at least these arrived today - all for me :D Now for a 2nd MAF
  16. class!! Keep em coming
  17. Talking about Oil coolers can you do astraight swap from Jap spec to UK spec? Not trying to Hi-jack, honest!! :nono:
  18. My current propshaft has worn UJ's and a duff centre bearing so this is actually cheaper than a replacement for me. 1-piece will transfer torque better and will also save some HP due to it being about a third of the weight of the stock one. I've gone for the c/f 1-piece to avoid the whip that you can get with a 1-piece of this length. I personally think that if the 300ZX was built now it would be 1-piece carbon one, but 14 years ago it wasn't really an option!!
  19. That's shit luck mate, how did you do it?
  20. LOL, damn right and with the USD where it is at the mo why not? Just checked my credit card statement, and it's come to 407 pounds!! (inc. delivery) Now just duty to add and cross-fingers it fits OK  :x: Will post details of where etc once I'm happy with it on the car
  21. fed-ex delivered mine from the states with no probs
  22. Tell you very soon as my one piece was shipped on Friday ( PS did I mention it's carbon :hyper: )
