TPS settings
had a feeling that was the case! It wasn't mis-beahaving to badly earlier about 1000rpm with no air-con. Might leave cleaning the connectors and catch the voltage next time it decides to idle at 1500rpm just to make sure.

TPS settings
been getting an intermittant high idle which goes if I stop and start the car, so I thought about checking the TPS voltage through my AVC-R. When idling properly (around 750rpm) it show .44V, checked it ealrier when it was mucking about abit and it was nearer 0.47V.\ Question, should the TPS by constant while idling, or would it fluctuate with rpm if something else is causing it? Just checking before I go scrub the connectors, as I have a feeling TPS should be constant if foot is off the Loud peddle. Cheers guys. PS full poly bush set arrived today so if anyone wants new tesion rod bushes let me know as I'll have a set spare.

Rear Lights
I've put the mock 99-spec on mine and I'm really chuffed with them - put a smile on my face everytime I see the rear. I think the orange was starting to get on my tits though. Really does brighten it all up. Will get a picture up soon, promise :D

slow puncture
anyone know how much it would cost to get it fixed? (that's if it's repairable) Imay have plastic fanstic tires but they still have plenty of tread on them  PS Washed the car today, go to cinema and it get's rained on!! At least it's cleaner than it was, and you can tell it's blue now:)

another boost question!!!
Not really worth it yet mate, you'll just melt the clutch anyway! Next thing to do would be the exhaust, then ECU then boost controller and clutch. Oops, just noticed you're an auto, so don't worry about that for now. But you definately need to do the exhaust to improve air flow before upping the boost

Front fod lamps
take the indicators out and you should be able to get to the back of the fogs (Indicators are held in with two screws)

targa top covers again and boost gauge
Targa bags are made throgh SMW1, he's redesigning his site at the moment so I don't think the pictures are working. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26941&highlight=targa+bag Boost gauge could be anumber of things from the gauge not working (does it move at all?) or the vacuum pipe going to the sender being blocked off. If it does move around a bit it may be faulty or you could have a big vacuum leak - chances you'd know about this as the car would be quite lumpy.

boost controler help needed
I think that's whta the self learning does in the Apexi AVC-R, or you can also set it up manually, as well as having boost / gear control and scramble :D Guess which one i got?

clutch hydraulics
there's one on the slave cylinder and that one, you'll need to bleed from both. As to why it's there, I have no idea!

Oil gauge - mechanical vs electric
Personally I'd rather have to replace an electrical sender every few years than have hot oil running into the cockpit!! But that's probably just me :D

bushes replacement
What did you do with the bushes in the end mate?

prop-shaft length
Only thing that's keeping me from steel is the critical-speed issue (lots of info in some old threads) and the carbon weighs even less which is good for rotational mass Stock approx 35lbs Z1 steel approx 18 lbs carbon approx 10lbs

prop-shaft length
I've been looking for ages and if you want a steel one I think Z1motorsport are your best bet http://z1motorsports.com/Products/Driveline%20Performance/Driveshafts/driveshafts.asp I'm really tempted by a carbon, and best price I found was $1100, but now I've found a place that will do it for $700 which is pretty good especially with the exchange rate where it is. Only snag is they haven't done one for a 2+2 TT before, only the 2-seater. Need to know how much longer they need to make it. Asked about group discounts and stuff and said he knock $50 off, but not worth it for the hassle, so I might be a guniea pig if I can get the right dimensions :) PS My current ones needs over-hauling (both UJ's and centre bearing) so the cost in comparison is not bad.

what do i do now?
might be an idea to do your clutch first as most seem to say they melt after a couple of weeks (days for some!)

prop-shaft length
ahh the good book http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=pd&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=41&design=default&total=43 so does that mean for a one-piece you just add them together? 606+508

prop-shaft length
Can someone please tell me how long the prop-shaft is on our 2+2's :D from seal to flange please
