  1. Here ya go and here's the page with more info, scroll to the bottom... http://www.splparts.com/Parts/_Z32/Engine/Fuel.asp
  2. yup me, running temp gone up by 2-3 degrees F when stationary. Nothing major though as I have a bigger rad ;)
  3. Hi Rory, I was only kidding. As far as the modifications go, you can do them once the car is here. Once the changes have been made you can get it through an MOT - very easy, then register the car here. J
  4. it'll get rid of that one too ;) ;)
  5. just speedo and rear fogs, no need to worry about fuel filler size ;) Can I order something to sit in the boot on the way over now :hyper:
  6. it'll only take you 10mins as you don't need to remove the clocks, just take the top cover off
  7. had the same when I did mine. Follow the steps to remove the speed warning and you'll be sorted ;)
  8. Currently using Metal Matrix too and quite impressed with them, not too costly either
  9. i think a few people have done it, can you tell me what problems you were having before and which ones went after the diff was replaced. Do you also think it's worth changing the oil on it? Thanks! PS I think twin plate clutch and using a knackered prop for over a year could have upset it
  10. Mods, someone has got in touch with me saying he can't use the sight as he's still waiting for his activation mail, user id robwight. Any idea what's going on? I have an e-mail address for him in case there's a typo in it or something, Thanks, James
  11. did mine, but I also had my 1-piece c/f prop installed the same time - world of difference :hyper: you missed this one then ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=31221
  12. it's probably the cable that used to go to the cats to detect over heating. There should be one for each side, and they go into the cabin to a little black box that sits under the centre storage compartment behind the handbrake. not sure how it would have triggered the light though
  13. I'm going up on the 24th to get my AFC tuned, hopefully free up a few gg's and I haven't had it dyno'd since the boost was upped
  14. Thanks Steve, I'll get them checked. Wasn't planning on pulling the engine anytime soon  I guess urethane ones are the way to go though if they are shot ;)
  15. Very impressed with this combo, car pulls very hard and smooth from low down, engine has a slightly different note and I'd swear my exhaust has got louder   After my first trip noticed I hit 16 psi, so I've had to turn down the duty on the AVC-R to 60% from 63% to hit 1 bar - wasn't expecting that one. I'm also getting more popping than before and definately running even richer than I was to start with - roll on the tuning session at Thor :hyper: Only problem I'm still working on is a groan from the rear end when pulling off, a slight whine when boosting at certain rpm's, and a clonk noise when coming off the gas in a high gear at low rpm. I've got new rear wheel bearings, new poly bushes all round (including sub-frame and diff) and new prop - guess it can only be the diff itself unless people have some better suggestions.  generally though :D

good luck! look forward to seeing some good footage. And have a nice time while you're at it :)
  17. AVC-R for increase boost mmmm boost & ES Poly bush set = no more wheel hop!!! and better traction:D
  18. well done, shame you cracked one though. Are you using silvervision bulbs?
  19. Tip - be very carefull! I think I may have buggered my speedo as it's a little slow reacting, and sticks at times
  20. just paid my renewal through paypal, but there wasn't any where for me to put my login name! the paypal account is the same e-mail address as I have here registered with. Is that OK?
  21. vote for FAQ section
  22. that's not your aiv, the AIV uses a solonoid near the small fuse box. I think that's you PFPR or something, the one that helps fuel pressure when cold etc
  23. Looks great! Glad you're happy with it :D
  24. you'll need to put the picture online somewhere, like your rides section, then it will have a URL you can point to...
