Just a quick post before going to work. Had a great day on my first visit to the pod. Spent a lot of time queuing as I didn't get there till late. Best time was my first run, trying too hard for the others. Can't quite get the launch right. Also lost a coil pack at the top of third for 2 of the runs, bit of bluetack sorted them out ;). 1st run 13.368@103.23 lost coil pack near end, beat 2ltr turbo Nova that got a 13.871!!! 2nd run 14.616@ 104.44 completely screwed the launch, wheel spinning in all through first and missed 2nd gear :slap: - beat a sierra still 3rd run 13.680@101.57 lots of wheel spin in first, lost a different coil pack - beat Mike Feeny in his 350 :cool: 4th run 13.586@107.34 bogged down a bit in first and completely destroyed a fiesta that ran a 19.2 :rofl: Time sheet for best run React - .646 60 ft - 2.350 330ft - 5.902 594ft - 8.286 1/8 - 8.812@85.57 1000ft - 11.200 1/4 13.368@103.23 Against Mike React - .825 React - .429 60 ft - 2.381 60 ft - 2.263 330ft - 6.069 330ft - 6.168 594ft - 8.501 594ft - 8.842 1/8 - 9.036@84.12 1/8 - 9.432@76.28 1000ft - 11.459 1000ft - 12.111 1/4 13.680@101.57 1/4 14.616@93.74 Really had to real Mike in after his quick reaction time and 60ft, also a 10th off his best time as he hit the limiter while looking at me catching up :D

DOH! Went for a blast today with the excuse of going to B&Q. Having a bit of a laugh, floored it and heard some detonation so backed off quick - caught the boost gauge at around 17psi. Anyway, do a recall on the boost controller and the peak was 18.4psi :shock: , no bl00dy wonder it was detonating. :nono: Looks like my re-circs were probably leaking, as this is the first proper spin since I removed them (car came with Blitz BOV's but re-circs still fitted). Also noticed my vaccum is a strong -20 now and hitting -24 on engine braking. So, must remeber to take it easy after changing something :slap: ...and yes, I've backed the boost back down to 1bar again :rolleyes: BOV's are a louder now though, which can't be bad :p

can't you hook someone else's MAF up for a quick check?

need to get underneath really. Remove the splash guard, then the bottom pulls away in the middle then a tug down from either side while pressing some tabs will sort you out.

Are you sure you mean 7000rpm ! You shouldn't get beaten just because you can only got to 7000 instead of 7200 or 7500....

are all your coil pack connected? go round pushing them in - can't atach a picture of where they are as I'm at work, but maybe someone else will. Also any vacuum pipes flapping around?
