No mate, always off the roll. Couple of tips for you; hot air gun and poundland super glue. Helps when you need to soften the leather, stretch it in place and get it to stay there. Good luck buddy.

Hey up buddy, We are both just outside thetford. How are you getting on with the targa's mate? When Big Al comes round, you should as well, have a brew and a chat, mini meet. How's the re-trim going? I've done a few now, are you using a kit (pre cut) or cutting out the patterns yourself?

Hey buddy, Just give me a shout when you want some help, no problem at all. I will make sure I save the rear panel for you when I start the strip on the auto. Pop round anytime for a brew, I'm about most weekends mate. I still have your number (if it's not changed), and my landline is 01842 890373, I think you've got my mobile. Speak soon.
  8. I most certainly will mate.
  9. Good to hear mate, had me worried for a while. Do you still need the rear valence, seal, thingeemajigy bit off one of my car's?
  10. Cheers Al, What's been happening matey, you have been away for along time. Please tell me you still have your car!! I hope you're well mate, have to catch up soon. Cheers
  11. Not too sure that this is a good idea, not so much because only 1 replied, but more so that the weather looks horrific and cold. Keep thinking guys, any suggestions please post them.
  12. At 20'+, the car stops being a piece of engineering art and instead becomes a Matchbox toy. 18s or 19s depending on suspension and ride height. Imho Mark, the wheels you have fitted look bloody lovely on your motor.
  13. Forgot to add that's it's between bury st Edmunds and Diss.
  14. Anyway, here is one of the first shows in our area, it's aimed more at the classic enthusiast rather than the Japanese performance but, but as its Easter weekend I am going for a look around. Might see some of you there. I will wear my nissan racing jacket (geek) so if you're about you'll recognize me. 30th March to 1st April.
  15. Yum yum, not a bad pair of specimens there, and great legs. Car's look good too!!
  16. Morning, I am contemplating my departure from my bed. I need food, a cup of tea and a shower or I could just stay in bed and watch F1.
  17. Sounds like you're well on your way there matey, chopping bits off and everything. Keep us up to date as you go along. Good luck.
  18. I'm with you on that one!!! Beer, Rugby, beer, F1, beer and weekend food, followed by beer.
  19. Washinpowder has one for sale matey.
  20. Get a volt meter/fluke, voltage tester and Check to see that when selected on, that you have power getting to the motor. If no, then go for the relay first. You could bridge the relay holder to test the circuit and/ or use the fluke to see if there is power at the relay holder, if not, possibly switch mechanism.
  21. Love it. The fact that the flow chart is based around 'did you f#!k with it' speaks millions about a lot of us on here! Lol...................I wonder what would happen if I just press.............
  22. Sod that, I am going to trawl through the forum for your threads, copy them, and write the book myself, lol!
  23. Jeff, you need to write a book mate. Another nice bit of advice and help.
  24. 1994 was a good year. Finished my apprentiship, ditched the XR3i and got me one of these. Sold it for £4600 now worth £16-20,000. Now that was a good move!! To make it even worse, my next car was a 29i Scorpio. Good news though! I now own a car that I would be lucky to get £4600 for and I must have spent £16-20,000 on it, ha ha lol
  25. Man, I am loving the look of the red one. Got me thinking now but it will have to wait until summer is over. I like what you are going to achieve, very nice & unique. Good luck with it.
