  1. Loving your commitment matey but Health & Safety would have a field day with your set up lol. Good to see that the weather hasn't held you back. look forward to following your progress mate. Well done.
  2. I truly hope that it's not the last show, it would mean I have to start talking to the Mrs every Sunday evening throughout the entire year. looking forward to the show and with F1 around the corner, what more could a petrol head ask for on a Sunday.........?
  3. As above and that's it. We use it at work to prevent corrosion. Take it from me, you will not notice any difference between air and nitrogen in your car. As said before, bloody expensive to.
  4. Ignore the last, I have just spotted where you are!!lol
  5. Nice, looks like you are well on your way. Where abouts are you now?
  6. IMHO the 350 put Nissan back in the sports car game but like what's been said, too many about still. When you see a 300 you think....90's powerhouse, drive a twin turbo and you think 90's crazy powerhouse before emissions and other legislation changed the way cars are built. The truth is, if you are a petrol head you have to be happy with what you drive. Some of us even spend more on our chosen cars and could easily of purchased a newer equivalent. Choice is all yours matey as long as you're happy when you turn that key. Good luck in choosing.
  7. I have taken my Z to Monaco back in June, drove around the circuit and had loads of people taking snaps of the car as we lapped through casino square. Now if there was ever going to be a ZED run to Monaco and back, I'd definitely be up for it! What a place and what a journey; a great trip and amazing adventure. To say I am jealous is an understatement
  8. ooooohhh I felt that, right between the legs. lol.
  9. Nice little outcome there mate, and now truly original. Good job matey.
  10. Bet that cost a pretty penny. I'm more envious of the workshop space rather than the car. Can't swing a cat in mine. Nice paint job and some good fabricating, jelous!!
  11. Very very nice and brings the Zed bang up to date. Well done matey, looks stunning!
  12. Good luck mate and farewell. At least you have had a good run with your motor and must have fond memories. Chin up, you never know whats around the corner.
  13. Very expensive as said and I would say it would have to be made from acrylic (same as an aircraft canopy) for safety reasons. Massive project.
  14. Welcome to the club mate and for your interest. Reading your list there, I would say that you are better off ensuring that you have the money in place and are ready for the pruchase of the car and then have a look what is available. Then ask the questions to suit the car that you are interested in as people on here might even know the car. Anyway welcome matey, you've made the right choice!! Good luck.
  15. Bloody hell, fell for that one hook, line and sinker. must remember to scroll down and not skip through. Well done mate, just in time for the summer.
  16. Amazing collection you have there and now you have the cherry on the cake as well. Nice to see a true enthusiast who knows his motors. If you ever decide to display your car's let me know because I also travel through Reims when travelling to the south of France and Italy and would love to see them. Anyways, good luck with your new Christmas present.
  17. Looks lovely matey, well done. Love the colour.
  18. I do this all the time if selling for a large sum of money so as to keep away from the ebay charges, but as above I ensure the money is my hands before I commit.
  19. I could be barking up the wrong tree here guy's but one of you might have had something along these lines before. I work in the Aero industry and although cannot share this experience on a car, I've certainly had this fault on numerous aircraft electrical systems. These are not too different from a car over than it's 28 volts. The 2 common causes of a buzzing relay are either the voltage supply to the relay to throw the switch is decreasing or there is a voltage already on the switchable line, causing a stale mate situation. There is of course the Earthing side of the relay to keep in mind. I know this doesn't answer the question, but someone might recall a similar situation.
  20. I have 2 TT's and a ford Mondeo and all 3 are insured through Adrian Flux. This isn't defending them as an insurance company but I pay £160 for one Z (limited miles of 5000), the other Z is £210 at 10,000 limited miles and £380 for the mondeo. I have 10 years no claim bonus at the age of 38. Most insurance companies are similar with their quotes IMO, most of the comparison sites use the same data base, but you need to speak to them on the phone and haggle (don't ask don't get). Obviously if you are seeking a low price with heavy convictions and points splattered over your lisence you are not going to get a low price no matter how hard you search.
  21. All the best matey, happy birthday.
  22. Old school cool. Amazing and worth a pretty penny I bet. Good find. I wouldn't mind having one of those in my garage!!
  23. If you get stuck or need a part give me a shout as I have loads of spares. As for the many jobs still to do, thats why we love 'em'; never a dull moment when you own a Zed and never a full wallet of cash. Take care. Ps, nice colour choice!! Tony.
  24. Very nice Zed matey. I think I have seen you parked at the back of a farm a few times. I was going to be cheeky and have a closer look, but didn't want to get shot by a farmer!! you know how they are in Norfolk!lol. I pass the farm every morning on the way to Marham so keep an eye out for me, I drive a Navara Rally raid (Red Graphics). Anyway, we will have to meet up in the spring, my Zeds off the road over winter. Again, great looking car!
  25. I know how you feel, I got 'had' by this company! There has been loads of threads on here about them and their 'shoddy work'. Such a shame that it leaves you disheartened and when times are hard it makes it so much worse. Hope you sort something out.
