  1. Those are truly fantastic, I'm sure they would cost at least 500 per corner. Well worth it though but maybe something to look forward to in the future.
  2. Welcome What a fantastic looking car you have!
  3. Those look very smart mate, I'm unsure how mine will look as my indicators have a dark tint.
  4. Thanks for the tips about the fogs. Hopefully z1 will sort out a replacement, then I can glue them in. Eggs- yeah they are alloy dial rings, thought I'd add a few extra shiny bits inside to match the door handles.
  5. Also picked up an original Nissan fairlady zx decal- I'm not sure if I'll fit this Any thoughts I quite like the clean look I have at the moment
  6. I took advantage of the z1 Black Friday sale and treated the 300 to an early xmas present. Some new jdm fog lights- unfortunately one of the end caps came broken, hoping z1 will sort this swiftly New scuttle set as my old one although in good condition is not perfect. Also got some new door seals as the ends on mine were damaged and I wanted to get some fresh ones while they are still available. Also picked up a few bits and bobs including some new targa bolts, some door latch covers, set of gauge rings and a radiator hose kit.
  7. Those are nice, did dazvert used to have a set?
  8. 350z nismo wheels ftw! But I'm biased too
  9. That looks great, really clean and sharp I trimmed my targas and headlining in grey alcantara and it really lifted the interior
  10. It can be rerouted far more directly but it takes this route for cooling. On the uk spec cars I think there are actually cooling fins on the front pipe section. An na pump does tidy things up a bit
  11. Today (1st) same as you mate :punk: It's actually a hasegawa 1/12 model. Super rare
  12. Happy birthday mate:thumbup:
  13. Not quite, although I do have one of those at work
  14. Special order birthday present from Japan from the other half. Anyone know what it is? Very happy with it, just need to go to Tokyo to collect it next week :thumbup1:
  15. Looks fantastic, all you need is to find a donor with a nice leather interior and a manual gearbox :whistling:
  16. From what I can see at the moment the Nsx market is very much on the up in the uk, there are a few around here going for OK money. Plus I've always really wanted one. On the downside I just found out a parking space is around £400 a month in my apartment building so I might be reconsidering my plan.
  17. Have I missed something, I need to see the new car!
  18. Does anyone know the rough cost of importing? I'm considering buying a bit of an investment while I'm living out east with the intention of bringing it back with me
  19. I have no idea what mine cost, I don't think I want to. Just placed another order with z1, they have 5% off today btw
  20. My personal choice was to go for black nylon braded lines with black AN fittings. However, I have converted my fuel rail to unf fittings and have an aeromotive FPR. Several things to note on this though- I love this sort of detail although it offers zero performance benefit, it has cost quite a lot to do this, it has taken lots of time planning and fabricating and also there is a large potential to get things wrong and have leaks etc. I've also converted my pas hoses too. It now looks very neat (most people wouldn't think I've done anything) but in my opinion there are hundreds of things I'd do before this. Be aware there are three types of system used that might look quite similar. Braided rubber hose with fancy jubilee clips that look like AN fittings Braided rubber hose with compression or cutting action AN fittings Braided ptfe hose (good for E85 etc) with compression AN fittings My advice would be to get some good quality injection hose (gates or similar ) and replace all you fuel hose- good for reliability. I'd also spend your time learning to set the engine up right to factory- get a boost leak checker and a consult cable plus go over all of the electrical connections. You will find you will learn a lot this way, won't cost you too much and you should have a nice running car at the end
  21. As far as I know they are no longer available new. Expect to pay around £50 for them in good condition. They do make a nice upgrade to the cabin though
  22. Gutted for you mate. I understand all of the hard work you have put in. The important thing is you are ok. At least there are some good people out there and you stand a chance of recovering your efforts, I'm very sure that is little comfort at the moment. Keep your chin up
  23. Following on from the link to project binky, does anyone have any links to any other good YouTube stuff like this? I'll add a few more below V8 mx5 build, plus a few other good projects on his channel. Also notice in one of the videos he is drinking from a project binkey mug Roadkill- great videos, especially the early ones http://youtu.be/qRh5KIVO3CM Project gramps- I'm sure most will have seen mcm And the last is quite interesting but a bit slow Enjoy Hopefully I can discover some new things too
