  1. It's been a while since I've been on here so I thought I'd drop in and see what's going on. I've not had much time in the uk this year but I did manage to get back and give the 300 a good drive. Unfortunately I do have smokey turbos, but that will be sorted next time.
  2. I'll take a look as soon as I get home mate
  3. Ha, thanks Here are a few old pics to remind people
  4. Worst case, get a spare rack when you see one up for sale (I might have a spare), clean it up, paint it and refit it if needed. A bit of a pain to change with the engine in as I remember). I would imagine the seals are actually a std cheap part if you can work out what they are
  5. I was wondering about my 300 and previous owners and club history, maybe someone is better at digging up info than me As far as I know I bought the car from Riggs in late 2009 as a rolling shell He bought it from turbo_boy a month or two before for the manual gearbox Turbo_boy bought it from uno "Chris" in July 2009 Seems like uno bought the car in April 2009 I though I had info before this but can't find any more. More info that may help on the search 1992 swb TT manual j reg Originally black Was fitted with recaros when uno had it ( maybe before) High level rear spoiler, skirts and bumper, volks wheels, teins
  6. Looks fantastic I really like the detail of the slightly smoked fogs. I will have to copy that off you :-) The interior is top notch as always, where is the cup holder from?
  7. I live in China. You ain't seen nothing in the uk
  8. Im after a pair of door cards the fabric can be in any condition but the leather/vinyl must be perfect- same for the clips in the UK, not Hong kong Let me know
  9. Yes mate, good value, hope they are ok! its a really nice little unit, the bulk of it can be hidden away
  10. Yes, no more spending on the zed for a while me thinks. Well except for the other few bits I have on order :innocent: Damn these cars get expensive, I would be nice to drive it.
  11. Well after spending a long time getting the car up to a decent standard I thought I show a few bits to go on that should help a bit in the performance department. I have a selin complete with new apexi filters, greedy boost controller, 550 injectors and a replacement injector sub loom. All ready to go on as soon as I get back
  12. Glad to see you back, I always wondered what happened to your car. Has the interior survived ok?
  13. Particualy if you have a working compressor. Tbh, I'm happy with an inflator can unless a mint one comes up
  14. No pics of the car at the moment but I'm back in the uk next month and currently collecting some bits. Mondo has done a cracking job on your interior. I would be very happy with that. I might be popping over to Ludlow one day when I'm back so I could easily pop up to Telford. I was thinking of trying to get a few cars together when I'm back somewhere in the West Midlands. Maybe a mini meet?
  15. No problem mate, just let me know how it goes. Shame there are not two swb space savers there, I could do with one myself:innocent:
  16. I will be back home in 3 weeks, I am about 20 mins from worcestershire Not sure if that helps
  17. That really does look stunning mate. I saw the car when it was a work in progress at Alan's. This really is one of the best cars in the club I'm still concise ring the vh swap myself
  18. As the title, I have bought a selin so I'll be needing a second maf, must be in good working condition and Oem
  19. With regards to the clonking. Take a very good look at where the tension rod meets the lower arm, those poly bushes you have fitted can cause the arm to crack around where the tension rod bolts up
  20. Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'll make some calls this week, I'll let you know how it goes. Another quick question- can road tax be purchased monthly now? I understand it's all online with no tax discs now- yes I've been out of the country a few years
  21. Same for me, got a message to call them. Gaz let me know if your quote is ok, see if it's worth my call
  22. Ok I'm after a bit of advise I'm going to be back in the uk in around 6 weeks and I need to get my car insured. I'm not concerned about the cost as I have a clean licence, it is kept in a good area and I'm a sensible age. The car is quite modified and has significant value (to me at least) So a few questions, Which company is good for an agreed value classic policy? Less hassle the better What needs to be done to get an agreed value in place? And how long does this take? I also have no idea what the value of my car would be, where have people got there values from? Anyone who knows my car have an idea what I should insure it for?
  23. Looking great. Keep up the good work
  24. I agree, plus it's nice to keep it local (ish) What look are you going for, or is that top secret at the moment?
