  1. Look in the tech section of http://www.aus300zx.com and there is a write up on how to do this.
  2. i would change the rollers as they are probaly on there way out.and if one fails it could be costly.the traders on here can supply them cheaper than that.as for the vtc hubs, replace the springs under the caps as this is the most common cause of the annoying rattle from the valvetrain at 3000rpm.

150 to 175 miles in town and 270 to a tank on a run.and its all down hill from here.rebuilding engine and upgrading to 555s and gt525 tubs.gallons per mile here we come.
  4. try taking the prop off the diff flange move it round one bolt hole at a time till the vibration goes.a bit of trial and error but it can work.

if the system has no air in it and the master is at fault.once you have rebuilt it put it in a bench vice and fill the resovoir.push the cylinder in and out till you get fluid out the ports.refit it to the car.loosen the brake pipes and get someone to apply the brake.tighten the pipe nuts and repeat like you were bleeding at the nipples.i have done this many times and it saves a lot of p**sing about.
  6. the cost and number i dont know.you may have to remove it for them to match.youll need a new seal and nut also.
  7. its a cassette unit and not a pair of taper rollers.get a kit from mjp.
  8. They look like good old run of the mill tsw,s to me.someone else may correct me.if they are jap they should have a jaswa sticker somewhere.
  9. cheers for that greg.nice friendly advice thats what i like.
  10. you could try back bleeding.get a new oil can, fill it with brake fluid and graft a peice of pipe onto the can nozzle.connect the pipe to the open nipple and squirt the trigger.watch the resovoir for bubbles.when the fluid level starts to rise all the air will be out.
  11. yes they are found behind the disc.he may need the cables also.
  12. thanks for the replys guys.should be quite a quick zed.this may sound daft but will my car retain some driveability with around 450rwhp.i read somewhere that after this the cars become a real handful and need traction control?
  13. cheers buddy
  14. anybody running gt525s on their zed.ive ordered a pair after much debate and wondered what rwhp i should acheive with 555s,intercooler upgrade, dump pipes and decats.??
  15. F**k the tea making if she can suck start a leaf blower then im happy!!!!
  16. wallpaper steamer makes it bump off.have a friend whos a professional tinter.he swears by them.
  17. the import duty varies greatly on the courier i find.my front mount kit import charges were only £37 with UPS yet a set of pistons from the states set me back £26 when delivered by parcelfarce.get the sender to mark item as sample and it should reduce the duty.under pricing the item on the shipping note is risky because if your parcel is lost the courier will only pay the stated value.HTH.
  18. red k plate on the A48 heading towards lydney gloucester.any ideas kev (white zed)who it is?.
  19. too true bud.got my clevite ones from the states for a ton with shipping.great link but thats too much work.
  20. no shit.the worst thing you can do to an engine is let it idle for too long after start up.cold start or fuel enrichment can glaze the bores. :nono: .zeds will not allow full boost till till the ecu detects a safe engine temp.(as long as you still have waste gate solenoids). :smash:
  21. contact mike feeney in the traders section.he trades under the name of MJP.
  22. Carl is right the clean part of the piston is caused by atomised fuel cleaning the piston.the rubber build up on the idler is what happens when the belt was too tight as Mike said.
  23. i bought a set of these for my jdm tt but as the 160mph scale is where my clocks indicate 180mph i thought the speedo would probaly be out.has anyone used these on a tt without a problem.
  24. hks made a kit for the z32 comprising of a single turbo .you can find a picture of it on http://www.ooparts-international.com.the car had 900rwhp.the turbo sat in front of the altenator and is the size of new mexico!!.
