Why do i do it? The V8's still not finished but i've just found a set of 19" Antera 309s (like BeeGeeVinz's and the larger version of the 18" one's i have already)! :headvswal One's missing a tyre, the rest are probably knakcered and i can't tell if one of the rims is scuffed from the photos but apart from that they look in good nick. Just text the guy to see if he still has them but for the money i can't let them go :headvswal:headvswal:headvswal I just think they'll finish off the look of the V8 nicely :) So expect a set of pretty mint 18" Antera 309s to be up for sale shortly on here  lol Mine: The 19" ones:

We are picking my car up this Friday... Before anyone says about bloody time or anything This is the down side... We are are picking the car up as not complete and still in bits!! I am very disapointed in the garage. I was a bit unsure about pulling my car away but after sending them a email on Wednesday saying this was a big consideration of ours and not to get a reply until sending another email sent the Monday saying the choice has been made and that we are picking it up. Very very poor and very dispointed. Poor isnt the word for it but having my car for a year and a half and only get to a point of stripping the engine what else do you expect from a…

Hi all, Over the past week I've noticed that when I am at full throttle and approach full boost (14psi) at around 3-4k revs the engine suddenly revs high quickly but I don't go anywhere as though my clutch is slipping very badly. I've had suspect thrust bearings since I bought the car and was wondering if it could be some other clutch-related issue, or I should just start crying now at the thought of paying out £520 for a new clutch  Cheers, Brian

I was disappointed that there were know stand/stall what ever you like to call it selling just run off the mill spare parts for cars. and not meny food stand's .£25.00 each is a lot to show your car. I did American car shows for year's and you could aways pick parts up at them . not just crome and stickers and after market kit's. Or is im just geting old

Had this zed nearly a year now just looked at the clock pics I took just after I had it and covered less than 2000km/1200miles :( I love this car it's loads better than my pearl one but just not getting any use out of it. Not really thinking of selling but seems a bit pointless spending out on tax, insurance, fancy stuff etc and driving round in a shagged out escort that I do 15,000 a year in struggling it's poor little balls off. what sort of miles are others putting on these cars mines seems more of an expensive ornament than a car:o

As we all know Z32 standard brakes suck, in my opinion they are the weakest link in the performance of a Z32, so the question is, Has anybody fitted the big Range Rover Brembo Calipers and discs to a Z32 ? Also what about the Brembo 8 pot calipers that have become so affordable of late ? Failing any of the above what are the largest Brake discs readily available and for sensible money that can fit a Z32 ?

...after having the kit knocking about for 18 months or so :smash: I thought it's now time to get cracking! I got the rears done in about 2 1/2 hours - I was surprised at how straight-forward the job was. i think the trickiest part was trying to get those damn plastic ties to thread back around the frame of the seat. after the tenth one i worked out that if i pushed one finger down one side, then tried to slide the tie from the other side up my nail then it did the job (i think the ties i bought were a little too small to work with, but patience payed off in the end) i also have blue trim to replace all the tweed cards etc. but i think it may be too light (its l…

Firstly although mentioned elsewhere I would like say a very big THANK YOU and WELL DONE for those involved in the organisation of what I and many others consider the best meet for a long time. Also I would like to thanks the members who where able to attend and for the warm welcome shown to myself, Jamie and my brother Alan, it felt like a real meaningful event that I hope will continue to hold the 300zx forum together and of course maintain its title of the biggest and best 300zx forum in the UK. Also it cannot go unmentioned that you guys voted me for two awards that was unexpected but never the less very welcome and I thank you all who was involved with tha…

I went to Modified Madness at Thorney Island (just around the corner from me:)) at the weekend to get some runs in with the Zed and my bike down the quarter mile strip. Had an absolutely wicked time and I was the only one flying the flag for the Zed brigade. Had some traction issues (surprising I know) off the line as it's just a disused runway on an army base but as the weekend went on more rubber was laid and my launches got better. I did 5 runs in the zed starting with a 14.223 @ 108.6 mph and my last run was a 13.470 @ 110.0 mph:hyper:. Very happy with the result as it was my 1st time on the strip and it wasn't a proper one. Might have to do a trip to the pod at some …

Hey everyone I just got a good deal on a zed which needs some work and am thinking about taking it to zedworld. Has anyone had them do an engine or turbo swap? If so what were your prices and how do you feel about the quality of the work? Also do we get a club discount? Thanks.

Hi Guys, a quick question Any ideas how easy it is to fit tein monoflex suspension all round. i have just ordered this with EDFC. I have done a lot of mods on my own. Guessing i will need spring clamps to hold spring in compression for when you unbolt, the original bits and remove, then bolt in a pre-assemble Tein coilover and bolt up. it might come with complete instructions?? How do you know how far to bolt everything up? Was planning on fitting stillen anti roll bars & tension rods, adjustable suspension and AP Big brakes at the same time!! Or would you recommend getting this done at a garage? Any help appreciated? Regards Kev

So it seems like Jeff and co were kept busy with conzulting loads of Zeds at JAE, thing is who's seriously needed tinkering with and then went hope feeling very happy and who's was bob on that didn't need his magic touch :) Just curious, as generally so many are throttle body inbalance's and timing, which can make big differences... cheers smithy
