I have a 91 300zxTT and would like to tune it. It has a decat blue flame exhaust already and a different induction system/air filter. I only want a basic ecu upgrade or simmilar. ZIND

Did door mirrors with led indicators blended into them come standard on any series of zx?.. As I have seen some before I am sure..?:confused: The reason I ask is I am thinking of getting rid of the indicator on the wing, and finding some led mirrors.. to give the car a smoother look on the side... hi ive been looking into sorting my speedo face in my 1995 n/a as the speedo face has been switched to a mph one but looks like its folding away from the speedo surround due to the mounting pionts on it not fitting my cluster propely, i think the kph face was a series 4 and the mph face from a series 1/2 the only clock faces i can find that will mount up properly are from the us which go up too 160 mph i also understand that the resistor mod wont work in my 1995 clocks so cant adjust them the make it read right so what are my options ? anyone have some ideas dont care if they are black or indiglo or read to 120 mph or 180 just want it to look neat

Just seen this on the Z1 site. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=3945 I had a clutch that had the hissing noise etc. So i removed a pipe and now have the stiff pedel with no noise. Would fitting this get rid of the stiff pedal or hissing sound that you get that is common with a clutch booster fault? Cheers, Ant

started my car up and took it steady until she was nice and warm... Got her up to 70 MPH and i noticed smoke out the rear of the car. It wasn't thick and could see right through it. took it home gently and the smoke wasn't visible unless i put the foot down a smudge. When i was at home the oil reading seemed fine and no smoke on idle.. I did overfill the Autobox and was told it might smoke a bit when the excess shoots out the box dip stick and onto the exhaust however there was no traces of it escaping. The car has sat for 3 months so does this play a part in it? How do i get rid of it? :(

Hi guys, Located a whole load of boost leaks including one at each end of the balance bar. I've put new seals on it but it's still blowing, can't understand it. How does everyone else seal it up completely? Also, I can't understand why it should be blowing past the nuts (lost one of the dome nuts), assuming the seals are sealing there should be no leakage here. Assuming they're not sealing I'd expect it to leak out of the sides rather than the more difficult route past the stud and nut (!?) Perhaps the balance bar flanges are warped through previous overtightening?? I'm going to resort to some flange sealant for the time being I think. Any reason why I…

Well, as days go by, I am seriously thinking about putting some money aside for an eventual colour change. Most likely a Nissan colour. I like the KH6 pearl white a lot. Glows nicely in the sun. BUT, the longer I keep it, the more I fancy a change. I want something a little more crisp and/or vivid. Body will have some very minor changes. 99-spec front bumper being the main one. After removing the inlet pipes, mas sensor etc in order to remove the n/s headlight, the car started to die when acccelerating whilst warming up. The revs were sitting 1000rpm higher on tickover as well. admittedly, I did try starting the car while the mas was removed - would this put the settings on the ecu all out of wack? I took the car for a 5 mile trip and it seems back to normal now:confused: I made sure all pipe work was back on properly and the fact that it is running ok now would suggest confused ecu settings.

The external antenna on my Z is broken, so when I read on this forum that there are actually 2 antennas installed (1 internal on the rear screen and 1 external), I decided to investigate. I know it sounds incredibly strange (why fit two?) but it's actually true, certainly for my Z. When you take the stereo out, there is a black cylinder like object, from which there dangle 2 cables with plugs on the end. 1 is the typical plug that we all recognise; this goes to the external antenna. The second is a very thin version and is connected to the internal antenna. All you need to do is pull out the back of the cylinder (secured by a clip), turn around the 2 prongs and push …

Jesus seems ages since i had to do all this LOL anyway i am setting up the boost controller on my zed and the low setting ie around 6 or 7 psi no issues, i use very similar settings to others who have posted up their settings but to get around 1 bar i am struggling, your talking around 65% gain to get around 1 bar which falls back to around .9?? cant see any boost leaks any ideas?
