Hi guys! After my poor zed being left outside my garage for the last year or so I have decided against all common sense to have her done up!! It has suffered from good old UK sill rot (badly!) I was reluctant to spend a fortune & was toying with the idea of breaking it :sad: After all this time & still dont know what I would get to replace her I have ordered 2 new sills & end repair panel to repair the old girl. Stuck another battery out of my scrap battery box & she started straight up! :D So - new years project zed is up & running!!! :nana2::nana2::nana2: Have missed that dancing banana!! LOL!!

I'm not sure what to do with these... Do i keep and fit on the NSX? or do i sell? If i was to sell would anyone be interested? They are not the cheapest of wheels. They were made to order and took 6 months to arrive. They have never been driven on and will come with 5Zigen light weight locking wheel nuts, and i really do mean light weight :D They are the Blitz Type 03. Think they are 18x8 on the front and are 18x10 on the rear. They come with brand new tyres, never driven on. Toyo Proxies and i have got a 295 on the rear. They also come with Blitz Valve caps and Blitz Centre badges. These wheels are mega expensive. Think i paid…

Now the over heating seems to be sorted http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=133893 took the car on a 50 mile round trip. I'm pleased to say all went well and had a few good runs up the dual carriage way:scooter: although accelerating in third around 60-70 the tail end started to wander a little at one point :oops: The lag on the single turbo is a little annoying but think once it's running more than 11psi it will be less noticeable, the main problem is I keep running out of road before I get full power and forget 5th on full boost... I need a runway for that! Will try to get a video posted again this weekend.

After trying various things to solve the over heating including, water wetter, bigger rad, 2nd fan, manifold lagging and heat deflector the car still ran to hot. Think I have now solved it with these two things, not what I wanted to do but I'd rather this than cooking the engine! What do you think?

hi after not starting the car for 6 months iv just been out for a drive but it wont go past 2.5 thousand revs.it seems to hit a rev limiter several times then will rev properly once and stall.anyone got any ideas what could cause this please

went out in the zed last night and gave it some for the first time since having the larger turbo elbows and de-cats fitting and on the same boost controller settings now produces over 1 bar of boost:devil2: whereas is made a max of 0.9bar before. :D just goes to show how much difference allowing the turbos to breath makes. dont worry im not running silly boost that will cause dett. also before no matter what the settings it would not produce more than 0.9bar due to the restrictions. cant wait to get it onto the dyno and mapped now. would deffinately reccomend getting de-cats and bigger turbo elbows.

car seems down on power like turbos are not coming in even though its showing good boost levels , from low revs the car is slow to pic up speed and revs ANY IDEAS lads and gals :taz:

little confused, been reading this http://www.thumper300zx.com/z32/factory_jets/factory_jets.htm i understand that the wastegate opens when it receives 7PSI (as this is what the spring is pre-set to) then it says this.... if you remove the line or plug it completely, the actuator can never open and you will hit "infinite boost". i thought if you remove the line from the boost source to the wastegate completly, the wastegates cannot open, as theres no pressure to open them? if the wastegate cannot open, surely NO boost or 7PSI will be acheived? not infinite boost???

My car does not have a horn button but the horn itself it is under the bonet. How do I make it work? Any advice on how to install a horn on a 300zx would be apreciated. Thank you.

I have recently converted from automatic to manual on my TT. The ECU for the car remains the same. I am wondering whether there will be any problems in removing the automatic box's ecu, the one that sits to the left of the main ECU? Will it casue any problems? Will there be any benefits? Is there any point at all lol? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Car goes in first week of january for prep work ready for bodykit and full respray. My question is whats the best paint protection and polish, Iv always used and swear by the meguires stuff, But i want this to come up in a fantastic deep shine. The car is black by the way. Hi My original autobox in my 1990 NA burnt out in June and I replaced it with a recon box from a Skyline, put in by a crowd called Transmission Centre here in South Africa. That box lasted about 30km and then there was a bang, the car sort of hopped or tripped and I lost reverse and then the whole box. The garage who did the work first tried to blame me for hitting something, then eventually conceded that one of the valves had got stuck open in the box. They replaced the guts of the box again (Skyline parts again) but this time put in two valves and that effort lasted about 200km. There was a failure to change up to second even in redline, a horrible grindi…

Well as the title suggest's when it rains, i get a squeaking when the wipers go, now, i thought,"Hmm... new wipers i think", So off i went..well you can guess the rest, tried them out after, and still the same squeak..so, i've got a mouse trapped somewhere or my screen is squeaking, any one tell me which it is? (and if its the screen squeaking, (which i've never heard off) ho do i fix it. Rich
