Hi All I have just aquired a set of 4x20mm Hubcentric wheel spacers for my Jap Spec Z. I am wondering if the existing wheel studs are longer than 20mm and will stick out past the face of the hubcentric adapter when fitted and therefore make contact with actual wheel? Any one had any issues with this are am I talking rubbish? Any advice much appreciated. Cheers

Hi guys My car runs perfectly, but 15 - 20 mins into the drive, especially if its a tiny bit damp the car judders when the accelerator is pressed, it seems like the wetter it is the worse it gets, the thing is, my filters are almost completely surrounded my a plastic cover although if you get under the car you can see a gap and see the air filters. Do you think that the water off the road is splashing up through that small gap and getting onto the airfilters, do you think the maf is damaged, it runs fine to start with. It looks as though their are two mafs to each air filter but the loom is only going to one, is the other just a dummy maf or can it be swapped ov…

My camera is crappy , but I think you can see easily the difference with the SuperClear Lense and the OEM Lense. The light pattern is more precise and "to the point" I guess you could say. I have the same pattern be it with the HIDS or the Sylvania Bulbs. Take a look and tell me what you think Mates!! In this shot you can even see the rectangular refractors in the beams...notice how tight the light pattern is? Just a Sex shot for you perferts: From about 100' away...plenty of light left dont you think...notice how tight the lighting is? Looking out the Z (ed) a good 200' on low beams Really , what do you Brits think now?

Hi all, I've got a strange issue with my zed. Both windows and powered seats have stopped working. I've checked the fuse under bonnet by the brake cylinder and its fine and there's power there too. The power doesn't seem to be getting from there to inside the car. Slim chance I know, but has anyone seen this before? Does anyone kno what's next in the chain between the fuse and seats and windows? cheers all.

Hi Guys, This may sound like a daft question but does anyone know how to fit a gaiter to the bottom of a shift knob so it isn't lose and slips down? There has to be a way of attaching it so it looks stock but I'll be bugg**d if I know how!! A point in the right direction would help. Many Thanks Cyrus - :blushing::blushing:

Hi all, bit of an issue with my brothers car. its a tt. It has recently had a new clutch installed and has been run in. It was slipping but he adjusted the clutch pedal rod and it has been running nicely since. But the other day it has completely locked him out of the gears not selecting anything. We bled the clutch system an as far as we are aware, all the air is out and its engaging and selecting gears ( albeit ) a bit notchy. But the issue now is that the pedal has a few inches of free play where there is no resistance at all and its engaging pretty close to the floor. It does not feell quite right. We dont want to adjust the rod too far the other way to caus…

My Z has been in storage for 6 months while I have been playing with my GT-R. Anyway, decided to get it out on Tuesday. Battery was flat but jumped off at the first turn. Took it for it's MOT Thursday, flew through that. Taxed same day and I'm off. This old thing still puts a smile on my face. Cannot be compared to the GT-R but still a flying machine and still turning heads. Now my daily driver again. Love it!.

Took my car down to my usual MOT station, to see if we can get it on his ramps. Been advised that it might fail due to being too low?? its not hitting the stops or anything, but he said its a concern. Never heard of a car failing due to being too low on lowing springs before

Im not to up on ECU and chips. I was wondering what I have to look for when getting one? I have forged internals, 740cc injectors, GT28R tubs. The reason I ask is BAZZ has a Socketed ECU and 740cc chip for sale and was wondering if this would be ok? Does the type of chip matter if running a AFC and dual intake with a dummy MAF? Thanks, Ant

Decided i am going to keep my aircon on my engine rebuild. This may sound a stupid question but part of the aircon pipe from the bulk head is wrapped in this protective wrap. Question is, have people left this on as i think it looks dirty? Does this pipe really get hot enough to need the protection? If its the case that it is needed what would be best to replace it with? Cheers, Ant
