Car went into zedworld on saturday to have an exhaust to manifold gasket changed... hopefully the problem with oil smoke coming out the exhausts will be sorted too and anits booked in for an MOT to get her back on the road... cant wait to get the car bck as know they will do a top job

Hi, I have been thinking of buying a interior trim kit to replace my tweed. The long term plan is to change the tweed panels for red and then black leather seats in the future. If I can find any that aren't ripped :cool: My question is where can I buy the trim panel kit? I remember them being on ebay a few months back for around £60 but haven't seem them again. Also are the decats on ebay any good for n/a car? The seller is 2fast2cool from memory. Now my car is loud :) so is it going to be undriveable and will I get pulled by the cops for any reason. Well im sick of the faded grey look of the front bumper so i have decided to spray it black as suggested by FunkiSi. Just finished the primer coat so a bit more to do yet. Then the idea is to smoke the front clear lights to blend it all in. Love doing these little projects. Happy days

And it passed again:hyper: That is the fourth MOT since i have had the car and it has just sailed through. The only thing they warned me about was the front tyres, so just been out and got two new ones and had the alignment done, Well chuffed.:)

I took my Z out for a wee spin this morning, for the first time in about 3 weeks......:nono: ......the sun was out, the roads were quiet and the air was cool. It didn't take too long to remember why I love these cars so much:bow: We're off to Bath for the day tomorrow; to visit their annual Christmas Market and have lunch in The Pump Room. car is running 7PSi at the moment, as i have the boost solenoids dis-conected. if i out boost jets in, it will still be on 7PSI i asume? but when you put an electronic boost conrtoller in, you can run over 7PSI. how is this? becasue when you have an EBC, the boost solenoids are still disconected?

started off a few days ago first off the pod that has the heater controls ect wouldnt come on so had no wipers heaters ect lit up with the lights but no controls after a quick look around the fuses it came back on all was fine. tonight drove the car to and from various shops all night the started to rain put the wipers on now they wont switch off unless i turn the ignition off am i right in thinking that its the little box near the bonnet release that needs changed? lastly stopped off at the local shop on the way home on on pulling away again the hicas light came on steering went heavy got home switched the car off unloaded the shopping went to move it into the drive but …

I my oil level is showing maximum is it alright? It smels like petrol as well... It can be because the engine is not mapped and is running rich?:headvswal

Just a quick thank you to DannZX for sorting me out with some Injectors, Plenum gasket and PCV Valves... Had an injector die on me last week and once again Dan came to my rescue! of my Blitz dump valves... My dump valves are looking a little bit corroded and worse for wear anyone fancy polishing or chroming them up? J

I can't decide between the two - I'm having trouble finding either type in good condition for reasonable money. Any pro's and cons? Craigtt offered his interior but it's difficult to gauge the condition with no pictures...

Hi Guys, I have searched but cant find , Full instruction`s on how to do a auto to manual conversion on a 300zx, any one know where to find them , if it exists!! I`m also after a full auto to manual conversion package for my TT, Thanks DaZ ;)

Now this is a clean boot, that low mileage UK zed seen here before, whilst getting access to the shock absorber fixings the boot floor cabling and the shine just is amazing really looks brand new! Jeff TT

Hi There, I am hoping to send over my dials and Side pods along with my ignition ring to Groover (Graham) to have his LED conversion as well as some EL dials fitted. I remember seeing a set of very detailed pictorial instructions about how to get the main dial pod open and to remove the side pods - does anybody know where the link is to these instructions? or have clear instructions of their own? Dan @ DTA reckons he can get some complete Apexi induction kits from a supplier, but as they are in serious short supply they are quite expensive. My question is how easy/hard are they to fit, or how much would it cost to get someone to fit one? I need to do my sums you see, i want the Apexi kit - but christmas round the corner etc Thanks in advance
