Afternoon, Can anyone help with where these front bumper brackets go. I've an aftermarket Stillen bumper so do I need them all? The first ones seem to have been cut at some point which makes me think it might be something to do with having a Stillen bumper fitted. I've got a set off a breaker so you can see what they look like complete

Hi - I have removed my HICAS completely - should I remove the HICAS ECU in the passenger footwell as well? Is it just a case of unplugging - discarding - or are there any little resistors to solder in - or Main ECU 'modifications' required to keep it happy?

Hi guys, As the title says, I want to buy a 300ZX but I don't know how much I should be paying for one, or what to look out for. I have found one to look at... It's an import on a K plate, has done 80k, and he tells me that it's a short wheel base model, twin turbo with a chip so it (apperently) runs 380ish bhp. Other than that, its boggo standard. How much should I be paying for this car? This model also has the removable roof. Do these leak? Also what does 'slicktop' mean? Any help would be appriciated.... Cheers, Maz

Not happy, as my car failed the mot and not on anything structural or important. In the past 2 years mot's it has passed with flying colours with no cats. This year, different mot station, as the one i used before have closed down, they failed it on emissions due to no cats. Unfortunately it states on the logbook, first reg date 2004 (obviously when it was first registered in this country) The reg plate on the car is a K so 93' ish. I checked all the usual places, and the dates come back as 1990. So pre 92 doesnt need a cat test, however, trying to prove this to the tester is proving difficult What can i produce to prove beyond any reasonable dou…

My wheels have a really large offset or is it small offset Anyway they stick out the arches. Is it possible to change this offset so they don't stick out so far? This will involve cutting the metal centre down on the inside of the wheel. These were expensive made to order 3 piece wheels, is this a good idea even if it is possible? Obviously i wouldnt attempt myself and would take to a specialist but where could i take them?

I am thinking about getting a set of these in white, the price here seems really good for these work wheels. Firstly what size 19s do I need with a big brake stoptech kit?. Also has anyone dealt with this company before? and how much import duty do you think I would have to pay?. http://www.neweraparts.com/Default.aspx?tabid=68&CategoryID=180&List=0&Level=a&ProductID=411&Language=en-GB Was quoted £2850 plus Vat over here so about £3250 plus shipping buying in the uk.

Nothing too exciting here, a usual run of the mill leaking fuel tank in for change, you can clearly see the leak is in the all to common place under the corroded support strap. What though I wondered was your thoughts on the exhaust? its one of those made to measure one`s that are very popular these days and provided they are done well are ok if a little expensive. However this one has had the two rear silencer box brackets bolted directly to the fuel tank? it is one of those moments where you look at something and say no that`s not right :( but, well I dunno really its secure, insulated and not really a very heavy silencer, BUT again it just feels wrong, what…

Hi everyone! I`ve bought a 300zx from WRC sales for £7999. Couple of miles later (around 200) the engine failed. When I`ve told them about the problem they did not want to hear about it. They said that I have signed a disclaimer. Anyway, after 8 months and £7600 later my car is back on road. Yes £7600 for an engine replacement and coz my broken engine was modified I had to swap the important bits to my other engine wich is on the car now. I still can`t drive the car to it`s full performance coz the engine management isn`t set up. I have to go at dyno. Does anyone knows a good dyno around east London? Cheers
