I'm installing the e.s. diff bushes but I don't know which way they go? The bush will only go in one way, which I've marked with a green arrow. But which way do they go into the subframe, red or green? Cheers Dave

Hi all, quick fire question. I have put my dials back in after getting the LEDs done etc but now the speedo i acting wierd. I have had hassle with the needle not moving for a random time then it will spring into life. Its been converted and i know it could be speed sensor related. This time though. The needle is on zero. Then when i turn the ignition on it moves to the 15 mph marking. I will work then but will never return to zero until i turn the ignition off. I will find out with sat nav to see if its 15 mph out all the way. Any ideas:headvswal

After spending 3 years and a solid fortune getting the 300 back on the road I've gone and wrecked the engine again  It's my own fault this time as I drove into a "puddle" on the road the same as everyone else going that way but I've got water in the engine :headvswal. I've spun a bearing and the engine sounds like a tractor. I've informed my insurance company who's going to send out an assessor. Out of curiosity, How much would a brand new engine cost from Nissan?? My mechanic is well p***ed with me after all the work he did rebuilding it, he had the cars engine purring. He reckons that the whole engine is scrap as I've probably damaged the rods and crankshaft as wel…

Hi All. Ive been mulling over a few different ones lately, as i want to make the right choice. Im now looking at a white one; http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1195616.htm I wondered if anyone fancied giving there input. I have spoken to them on the phone, and they are willing to put it on a ramp so i can have a look over it properly. It looks a bit dull on the outside, but nothing some tcut wont cure... Thanks in advance. Matt

Hi guys, my father is on the look out for a weekend car and seen as he has a 300zx in Portugal we want to get one here. I absolutely love Zeds (wish i was older to be able to insure one ) Looking around for some time already and found this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230399170242&ssPageName=ADME:B:TB18:UK:7 I know its finished already with only me making an offer. He's asking £2800 for it, but seen as its finished he came back with an offer. So what i would like to know is how much would you guys pay for it? Its 335miles away from us so cant really go to see it :( Thanks André

Hey! I just laid up my Z for winter (shes a bit too sideways in the wet with my daughter in the baby seat beside me) so using the safe ol' dependable Skoda Octy! I followed a couple of Blue R33 Skylines the other day into a yard called Abbey Motorsport in my Z; just around the corner from me that I didn't know was there! Has anyone used them and are they any good? I want to replace the passenger front wheel bearing and I think the o/s manifold gasket is starting to free itself (can hear it when cold) I am looking for 2x 8.5j rear t/turbo wheels that they dont have laying around too. They had various HKS 350Zs and Skyline R32/33/34 laying around and a few Scoob…

Since i swapped my speedo cluster and had the ecu upgraded, I had a couple of weeks enjoying her and then all of a sudden the last few days i've had a few problems with my Zed :( 1) The speedo works fine most of the time, but sometimes the needle indicating speed does not work or suddenly drops down to zero and then flicks back up when it was working. All the other needles seem to work fine. 2) Every now and then the steering feels heavy (i think this has only happened when the speedo is not working) then the HICAS light comes on and stays on. If i switch the engine off then start her up again - it often feels fine again, and the light does not re appear. …

Increased HP and better fuel economy, plus it will make your engine last longer ?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-Supercharger-Turbo-for-NERVANA-350Z-300-ZX_W0QQitemZ300366707358QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item45ef403a9e FFS Trading Standards could have a field day with the claims this lot are making, the sad thing is that someone will buy the crap!
