I really cannot make up my mind if these will look good on my car?? For the people that bought them in the group buy have you fitted them yet and what have you done with them??? I dont want to chrome them because on a black car they will look way to bright. I was thinking of spraying them in a bright silver like below and put a mirror film around the center parts (light section) 99spec but in black or gloss black?? but it might not be worth the hassle lol!!! Or just leave the stock ones in as i think it looks aggressive. Here is my car and issacs side by side and he has stock ones but chromed (spray) So what are your thought…

Hi Ive been talking to a chap who may be able to make some slam panels for us N/A owners. I was wondering if there would be any interest for a 1 piece headlamp/slampanel as is availiable for the Twin Turbo. We are only discussing the possibility so price ,time etc is yet to be sorted, just wondered if anyone fancied one.

the 300zx is surely a classic now not only in years but complete driving experience,as parts seem to get more expensive and labour costs more it still baffles me why the cars arent going up in price the odd few with thousands spent im not saying but we have all spent probably a few grand fixing them does anyone think our great car will become worth something one day?

Hi all Just considering upgrading my front brakes as being an auto I obviously rely on them hugely in normal driving let alone anything spirited, however wanted to know what people's experiences are with regard to possibly unbalancing the braking of the car and therefore making it unstable under heavy braking. Does a front-only upgrade have that effect ? Should it really be a front AND rear upgrade to maintain balance and stability ? Any thoughts most welcome....... Mark

Three and a half years ago i gave my car and £500 to a certain person to perform a rebuild.I supplied all the parts (Wiseco pistons,Eagle rods,Cometic Headgaskets,Tomie Cams,Greddy TD 05 18G turbos,Pentroof manifolds,AEM ECU etc etc)Then four months ago i got a phone call from him saying he was having financial difficulties and couldnt pay the rent on his unit. Now knowing from a third party my engine was complete and ready to go in i paid him a further £500. Well after excuse after excuse i finaly had an email from him last Saturday saying that he had payed the rent up in full and was waiting for the keys and i could collect my car at that time. Not believing this i m…

Guys I have bought a load of braided hose off this chap on ebay, thing is it has all turned up and it has plastic PTFE insides instead of rubber? it is advertised as being the best kind of stuff. The last lot i bought from someone else had rubber insides Im worried about it shrinking down tightly onto the pipes and not leaking with a clip on it. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280459999036&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Hi there, just wondering if anyone can offer up any advice before i get my car looked at tomorrow. I have a jap spec auto tt. I was joining a juction at 40mph and when i accelerated to merge, my engine revved higher and higher as my speed dropped, i then coasted to a stop at the side of the road. Once i was stationary i tried selecting each of the gears individually, inc reverse, and nothing, none of the usual pulls when a gear is selected, the engine just revs. One thing i will mention incase it is relevant is that my car has always had a dodgy speedo, which drops to zero whenever it feels like it, at which point the power steering no longer works. I…

Sounds as if my fan belt was squeaking when i left work, not on startup, but 50 yards down the road. I stopped, opened bonnet, sounded as if the fan kicked in and the squeaking stopped simultaneously. 100 yards down the road as i was about to pull out onto the main road, sounded as if the squeak was going to start again, put my foot down a tiny bit and it ceased. No more squeaks on the way home. Any advice or comments? do i need to replace the fan belt - if so which should i buy? can anyone fit it? Thanks in advance.

Ok guys here it is, Now that the weather in Germany has finally made a turn for the better I can get dirty and try and sort her out. There are 2 main problems that I have and I will go into them in a minute. 1. Rear Brake Lines Went to fit a set of Goodridge lines and when trying to get the old ones off they BOTH snapped at the bracket in the wheelarch.:oops: I bought some new hose endings and a pipe flaring kit but the pipes are so badly corroded that I cant really do anything with them. :headvswal:headvswal Don't know where to go from here. 2. Plenum Had to replace the rocker cover gaskets, these went on fine and are all sealed and a…
