    after my Z32 was stolen a month ago, im getting a new one, but whats the best set up for a TT z32, my last zed ran an unbranded airfilter and exhuast and was very disapointed, im defonatly fitting a greddy profec B controller, and thinking of a pair of high boost dump valves ( by this i meen set up only to work under high boost setting,) and the hicas has got to go, and the bottle cap brakes need uprating, what brands do poeple recomend, eg exhuast induction kit radiators, i think you get the idea, ive got a fair bit to spend on the mods and my unis auto lab for fitting, so lets hear some ideas, suggestion, ,

    This club is amazing and has so many great members, including Madmax I set off nice and early for my drive from Southport to Southampton in my trusty Vito, only took 4 1/2 hours there and 3 1/2 hours back!! and well worth the journey as I met Madmax and madmax`s car, It`s amazing and is going to be a beast!!! no expense has been spared and he is doing a lot himself, all chromed parts new paint work and awesome zed porn everywhere, its going to take some patience to get it all back together, but it will be a show stopper I have returned home with a van full of goodies !! Front set of brembos and discs, chrome powersteering pot, a good engine block, chrome pulley …

    Guys, I would really appreciate your help as techical questions come up doing our build. A lot of the parts we are fitting dont have instructions and we are fitting them to other aftermarket parts making things even more complicated. We would really appreciate getting any help or support with questions listed here :blush:. Questions 1. There is a bolt hole that appears to be threaded next to the right hand front water pipe on the engine. Does anything go in this hole? if so what? 2. What the frack are the clips from Nissan that came with all my bits, they can be seen in the bag here and where do they go? 3. With the Tein monoflex suspension wi…

    I have cleaned the throttle bodies out, they were filthy, cleaned out the lines and the IAA unit, set the idle down and now running at 700 rpm and smooth. When I tested the DC Voltage from the centre pin of the TPS to the battery earth, it read 8.42 volts, any idea why ?

    I am looking for a car audio set up for about 3K, double din with sat nav and the rest of it is up for debate but a decent bass handling system is essential. Can I have your advice regards what kind of system to buy as well as where to buy it from. I dont mind doing some fiberglassing in the boot but dont want to cut 43565 holes in the interior as im having a nice posh trim done. :glare: I know feck all about car audio so if anyone can help I would really appreciate the advice.

    Been making some good progress on the car since all my bits were delivered. Have all the manifolds, tubs, etc on the engine and today put the Tein suspension on the front of the car as well as the Stoptech big brake kit. Pics of the suspension and brakes here http://www.project300tt.com/2010/02/13/tein-monoflex-and-stoptech-big-brake-fitted-on-the-front/ Engine build in progress here http://www.project300tt.com/2010/02/13/engine-build-progress-so-far/

    What makes 1 set of coilover better than another? There is such a vast choice of manufacturers available for a range of prices. The job they do is fairly simple and they all seem to have adjustable damping and rebound levels... so, if they all have these attributes, how can 1 be better than another? :cowboy:

    Hello, noticed this photo (from the discusison of moving expansion tank) and was wondering why put it in? Does it add to balanced air pressure or something on the intake? I dont have a dual pop. {nice engine silverbullet!!}

    Hi guys, Just had the steering column off to try and fix an ongoing steering prob (hopefully fixed now) but on starting up it appears I've lost the above mentioned electrical services. I disconnected a few bits and pieces to make column removal easier and just wondering if I've not connected something back up. I can't see anything loose that should be connected apart from a second, 3 way connector from the ignition switch but Can't find anything to plug this in to :-( The odd thing is that when I first turned the key, halfway through reinstall, I'm sure the pod was working. This car is seriously beginning to do my nut in, I get 2 new problems for every 1 th…

    Was going to do them Sunday but had a spare few hours and had a go, easy peasy lemon sqeezie!!!! Job done in less than 3 hours and i waxoyled around the arches aswell, front right wheel is rubbing on something on full lock, and set them on hard and its goodbye teeth!!! setting on soft is just like standard shocks!!!! made up with them, the car handles so much better. I will probably set the ride height a bit higher than it is in the pics as i think its a little too low, and i may get some spacers to bring the rear`s out a little I noticed the camber is way out so i need to get them laser aligned now, heres some pics from today; New and old;

    This has probably been discussed many times before but are there any rear diffusers or undertrays made for the zed? I found a universal diffuser which will probably fit with not a lot problems but is it worth it. Im not going for more downforce or improving track capability just the look. I like the look of the rx7 diffuser and apparently it can fit other cars but has anyone ever tried it? The problem im having is buy it and it looks great! Or it doesn't fit and I have waisted £150! Or it looks horrible and everyone says what the hell is that lol! The universal one is okay but im wandering if it will be lost on the back of my zed and not very noticeable. …

    Im a total newbie to this.Picked up a TT for cheap.It was running but very rough,decided to pull the motor so I could check everything from scratch.Ive been through all your threads learning as much as I can as this is the first turbo I have ever owned.I know i could spend money on all the correct equipment but due to money and the fact that i still have to get the car through its inspection so dont want to change to much.My idea is to connect the actuator for the turbo straight to the inlet manifold through the solinoid valve that comes with the car with a switch activating on the dash. So what this means is I will be running normal boost most the time unless I depr…

And what voltage range should show a decent sensor. Ive got 6 to check, and all are showing voltage. Either im doing it wrong or they are all shagged. Help please

    I'm well aware of the fact that the 300zx ain't a rally car, but I really like the deep dish Sparco/OMP steering wheels around. Like this: Just curious as to how a deep dish wheel looks in the cabin of a Z, had a look on tinternet but not really seen any :(
