Won't be to everyone's taste, but I think it looks absolutely amazing. Such a great stance, and an awesome set of wheels (Hayashi Racing 505) http://speedhunters.com/archive/2009/11/04/car-feature-gt-gt-that-240z.aspx

We all like good brakes and there are many ways to improve your standard set up but of course cost can be an issue. So quite a popular method is to retain the existing calipers and use adapter plates to move the caliper out so a larger disc can be fitted. But get the maths wrong and what looks like an upgrade can be much less than you think. Here is a case in point, bigger 330mm discs fitted using caliper adapter plates give an apparent extra 20mm of disc. But on closer inspection the pads have beome incorrectly position and as a result the pads overhang the disc by around 5mm. Further inspection reveals the inner 15mm of swept disc area is not in …

I have a clifford alarm on my Z - its an oldish one (white fob!) The indicators flash when alarm 'goes off' but siren doesn't sound. You can press the unlock button and it will reset the alarm, although it doesn't operate the locks. Finally, it doesn't seem to immobilise the car as I can start it without even touching the fob. The person I bought it off said it was some connection in the passenger door, but there seems to be a multitude of faults there. Control module or something? Is it hard to rip it all out and get another one fitted? :boat:

Question I have changed the side light bulbs set in the Fog lights to orange. Bought some Clear indicator side lenses. plugged the Indicator into the Large pod, then clear small bulbs in the smaller pod of the indicator lense, and connected these to the now orange side lights, so i have two sets one orange and one white. The white ones now being the legal side lights but should I keep the orange or make them white as well (legal wise)?? If that makes sense

I have just put together my engine stand which arrived today and im going to need the bolts to attach it to the block, im thinking 10x100mm if anyone knows for sure please let me know. Also because of the pipe on the rear of the engine, it seems to leave only 4 mounting points. Anyone with any pics of the rear of the engine on a stand will be great. Last question, will it rotate ok on the stand or will it try to swing out of control, is it best to have 2 people to do it. Many thanks Graham

OMG what a day, I spent all of it fitting a new FMI. If you dont mind getting a saw to your freshly painted after market bumper then im sure its a quickish job. :clown: However if you dont want to destroy your bumper then you have to bend, hacksaw, and generally struggle with every part of it. Its like the movie Karate Kid but instead of "wax on, wax off" its "bumper on, bumper off" ahhhhhhhhh. And then when you wrestle with it all day so the fecker fits underneath you then need to fabricate two brackets to hold it all into position. Sure pleased that is out the way

Hi guys, just after picking your brains... I could do with a new rear bumper, seeing as i am getting the car up to tip top condition, just wondering if there are any body shop geezers out there who can tell me what the best way to prep it for spraying is, as it has that orange peelish stippled effect on the bottom half, obviously wet n dry wont do it.... Cheers, front bumper arrives in the morning, woo!:thumbup:
