Exhaust noise and leaks can be real annoying but often rarely viewed as dangerous , however as we all know exhaust fumes are extremely poisonous and should not be taken lightly. Essentially any combustion fumes that enter the cabin area can soon become a recipe for disaster especially as it can not always be not detected, and also any exposure is culmative meaning small regular exposure can tot up to a lethal amount let alone headaches and drowsiness. So bearing that in mind take a look at the photo's below, a zed with a very serious exhaust leak at the rear of the turbo elbow. The position if the leak is slightly forward of the bullhead and very close to the …

Not sure if this is a re-post, but many not be aware that National Tyres do an oil & filter change for only £26 (if booked online or £29 at the branch). This is for Magnatec semi-synthetic oil + filter + labour. On the basis that the oil is normally £20-25 + £9 for the filter, this is very cheap IMHO.

I'm tempted on going for the viper rear spoiler from ZCentre, but I saw this advert on ebay saying that the fitment and finish on the spoilers supplied by them is crap. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX-Z32-Rear-Spoiler-/140421883107?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20b1cbe4e3 That's a low level spoiler by the looks. I'm going for the viper one potentially. Anybody got any experience? Thanks, David

i've noticed since owning this new zed, acceleration is far better than the uk spec one i've got (even with stage 1 fitted to that) but i have noticed during decelleration i'm getting popping through the exhaust it's quite regular (every 2 or 3 seconds) just wondering what could be causing this? the car is decatted so no issues with blowing holes in cats etc but i am a little worried about engine damage issues

Noticed a lot of threads recently where the underside has rotted. TBH mine is pretty clean but its not a car I plan to use TBH just a project and unfortunatly not garaged. What precautions should I take to stop underneath rot. Do you think a cover helps? I guess moisture just builds in the air anyway being outside. Also does mine being a UK spec have any better UK weather resistance compared to JDM car.

Its been a while since I did an update, and I was bored and had the camera out so thought I'd take some piccies :saddam: First of all, the tired old red paint is being replaced with a fresh white coat. Long term plans I think are to reshell into a SWB probably next year, so main aim is to breathe some new life into the old girl. Got some more goodies and some already fitted to the interior:- OMP suede wheel Apexi AVCR Boost Controller Apexi Super Air Flow Converter Apexi Multichecker Blitz FATT Turbo Timer Glovebox Install Mine's ECU

hi all, a new issue has developed and i cant find a solution, when i turn on the ignition the dash lights up as normal, but 2 new lights have appeared and stay lit, the hicas and the anti lock light, also when i try to select a gear the auto selector lock doesnt come off. the steering seems very heavy as tho something isnt working and the car when in drive has virtually no drive, in reverse it seems fine. any ideas??

I just threw the electric fan away and went back to Viscose for better cooling. It stays around 215 degrees on the digital and in between half and three quarters on the dash one, (more towards half than three quarters). Is that about a normal running temperature or is that still on the high side? I took the thermostat out while I was waiting on a new one, I know is a new engine so will be tight and making a lot of friction and heat until it has worn in a bit. On that note it has done around 30 miles on £22 of petrol... but it is now running and driving so nearly a working car now.

Just purchased a Southbend OFE Stage 3 clutch from the US, but is it worth installing a lightened flywheel (RPS or something similar) some people say it is worth it, some say the difference is hardly noticeable.....

Brought a nice chromed power steering pot off Slick Pete. As i am going to replace the fluid for the main steering. Plan on bleeding it through to rear hicas. I have read a thread about having the car on axle stands running the car above 2000rpm with the rear wheels turning, someone then turns the steering wheel left , then right while someone lies under the car opening and closing the bleed valves. I have got the Conzults program, can i use the simulate drive option to turn the rear wheels, while having the engine idling to pump the power steering fluid through. As i do not fancy lying under car with wheels spinning, and bleeding through. All advice apprec…
